As I was scanning video's, I saw something that may or may not be anything relevant...

Pause this video at 0:07, note the bald man over DJ's left shoulder

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQeni0qt8Vo

Pause this video at 0:56, note same bald man behind white bald man, who is leading off Piaget and Tiffany to most likely get their statement.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7tTsEYE3Ms

The reason I find this relevant is that this is the same general area in both videos. I've said that I thought neither Piaget or Tiffany saw anything. That they all saw the exact same thing, described exactly the same from different angles, seemed odd to me. Now we have video of these three witnesses congregating in the same spot with the same folks (including Mike's mom) at nearly the same time. I think this is where Piaget and Tiffany picked up this story and ran with it.

I just listened to the 'smoking gun' (no pun intended) tape that's just surfaced.
With my faith in humanity, I hope it has not been doctored and I'm sure that will come out with evaluation. note: I'm not accusing, but we all know it has happened.

Two things struck me:
- First, WHAT was this guy doing on video chat? Telling someone how pretty they are and then 'let's start' (or something like that). Holy moly-- that sounds creepy.

- Second, are gunshots during the day so common in this neighborhood that this guy seemed unphased by them going off?

I think he was focused on another part of his anatomy. ...blushing...

YUP And either no one else in the apartment, or behind closed doors for privacy. Also, we may not have heard the whole audio...it sounds like the conversation and whatever else was going on had already been initiated. The first shot may be recorded, but due to what miss "purty" was doing and the guys response to it, it may not be prudent to air it publicly. We can bet the FBI heard the whole thing. LOL JMO

The pause doesn't prove jack. In fact it appears OW was missing most of the shots, he likely paused hoping the suspect would go DOWN but when MB kept coming at OW he fired again.

Or alternatively he paused because he realized he was missing most of his shots and waited for the assailant to get closer.

Does anyone know what type of weapon OW had? I would assume it held a 17 round mag?

I don't think any of us know what type of weapon he had. His mag may have only held 12-14 rounds.

I really don't think OW wanted to kill MB and only wanted to stop the suspect but he had no other option but to fire more shots when MB kept advancing toward him. JMO.

I am glad they have this tape. I believe it is going to line up with the AR and ballistic tests and OWs statements to all police agencies that have interviewed him.

It shows he stopped firing (IMO thinking he had stopped the suspect) but then the suspect was still mobile from only being struck in the arm by the first round of bullets and continues to advance making OW have to take further shots in order to stop him.

IMO

You noticed that too? OMG I cant believe anyone would just sit there while all of these gunshots were going on and continue to chat sexy to whomever. It does make me think that gunfire is normal in that area. It has to be or the man would have told the woman 'holy moly, let me see WTH is going on.'

Have to say, the only witness this audio of gunshots supports is the man in the Black Canseco video. Oddly enough, the only witness who hasn't been interviewed and the only witness the "excessive force" group will not discuss.

At first listen, the guy speaking in the gunshot audio sounded as unnatural as the guy in the beginning of that Milli Vanilli song "Girl, You Know It's True". At least we know why he's on video chat and not with live women. lol

Also, saw a comment from a tin foil hat type who thinks this video, based on timing of it's release to CNN (while they are covering Mike's funeral when people are at their most vulnerable), is a ploy by Crump. He opined that it may not be subject to uber-strict investigation because it is covered by privacy laws regarding 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or some such. I would think FBI could match up his computer activity and time stamps to see if the timeline is corroborated with what we know. But if privacy laws prevent doing that, then it may be more difficult to authenticate.

Exactly! Not sure why MB's family attorneys and CNN think this a "gotcha" piece of evidence.

I'm not sure if this link has been posted of the new audio tape of MB shooting from CNN, as I have many pages to read since I just logged on, but here is the one I came across.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/26/us/michael-brown-ferguson-shooting/

I've listened to it over and over. At first I though it was 10 shots but then was counting only 9.

Thanks for posting. I listened 5 times, 3 times I counted 10 and 2 times I counted 9 :gaah:

Omg :giggle: at the "you're so purty" What a smooth talker

I don't think they will indict. These jurors have been reviewing cases together for months, I think they will probably make a sound decision based on the facts. They will also see much more than we have, including the photos of OWs swollen/beaten face.

In order to indict they need NINE to agree so I have read.

I do think that the powers at be will drag out the GJ proceedings as long as possible though.

I may think that also if the GJ was sequestered and had seen none of the threats that have been lobbed even by political figures about what is going to happen if they don't indict. These GJs go home each and every night.

They live there and they have already seen the violence happening. They aren't stupid and they know if they don't indict it is going to be one hot raging violent mess in Ferguson and they also will worry about their own safety and the safety of the families.

While GJ proceeding are confidential it is very easy to find out who is on the panel. They have to come to the courthouse every morning and leave. So others are going to know who these people are.

I have never felt sorrier for a GJ as I do this one.

I hope that all of them have the strength my husband had when he had GJ duty just a couple of weeks ago and will have the courage to no bill if that is really what they believe the evidence shows.

I worry that they will indict and just hand it off to jurors to decide. If they do that... it is the cowardly way out. If they believe the shooting was justifiable it is their duty to stop the criminal proceedings right there in the GJ room by 'no billing' the case.

Will they have the courage to do this knowing what they know including the terroristic threats that have already been made? That remains to be seen.

I have completely stopped watching CNN when it comes to the MB case. I want news and they have turned into Comedy Central on this particular case in their desperation to twist facts.

Maybe I am naive but I think they will listen ONLY to the facts (at least most of them) and not indict.

The angry rioters are NOT going to research and hunt down the GJ, the most they will do is loot/burn more businesses and possibly kill some innocent folks that are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If this involved an organized wealthy high profile gang/mob (M13, the Mafia, etc...) then there may be a slight concern that the GJ would be warned and then killed if they failed to cooperate, but that is hardly the case here.

Question, re chat is there a capability to "record" chat? If folks are chatting about biscuits do people typically record them to replay - they may have have said triscuits instead of bisquits, what would one do then?

what they said cram and someone meant ham? what would one do then?

What if they were chatting about mail and someone thought there was a hail storm? what would one do then?

What if someone was talking about a puppy and the chatter er thought they refering to them as a yuppie? what would one do then?

Did they mean pot or a pot? what would one do then?

Verification might be very very improtant!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!HA thats funny

also if i understood earlier post does grandjury hear many cases - I thought they were only for this one?

I think the video of shots in background iare real. Just like the way they sounded in "background"

Two things got my attention from the new tape released, at least from the one I listened to. Maybe there's an expanded version or it got edited.

1. The audio of gunshots started right away on the video, I beleive in context and wanted to hear even 10 seconds before the gunfire erupted.

2. Who in their right mind is recording a social call with another party?

  • #835
Maybe he was caught up in the moment... *gag*

I'm literally laughing out loud now... because can you imagine being THAT guy and having to testify ? "Uhh yeah.. I was umm uhhh getting frisky with my internet girl and about 15 minutes later I noticed all of these cops ... I wondered what I missed so I went back and replayed my video chat..."

He may have been caught up but if that is how that whole convo played she was yawning. I bet he would try to get out of getting on stand. Maybe just come to an agreement with both sides that this is how he realized what he captured on audio.

I know right? I think what is most important is what happened during that pause (it was only about 1-2 seconds.) Did MB beg for mercy with his hands raised in the air? Or did MB lunge at or continue to lunge at the officer?

This is no smoking gun. I think it could prove to be one good piece of a puzzle to support or dispel any other information, but a smoking gun to definitively turn the case one way or the other? I hardly think so.

1. I agree hard for your ears to process the first shot b/c it comes so quickly but I think they cut it down so not to embarrass that guy any more then they needed too.
2. It may have been recording a video chat session so he could later go back and enjoy that conversation again.

I'm still a bit off kilter, so forgive me if I'm missing the obvious, (and nobody get mad at me, please! :scared: ), but the only thing that I found interesting is the lack of voices. (except for the happy chatter dude :o)

I would think that the shots could have drowned them out, but I'm not hearing anything during the momentary pause.

Yes, I wondered about this too.

It's unlikely that the 9 "white" grand jurors are all white-white imo.

From YouTube video of DJ above:

Just after DW failed to pull MB into the cruiser: "He pulled out his weapon. His weapon was drawn. He said, 'I'll shoot you. I'm going to shoot.' And in the same moment the first shot went off. And we looked down, and he was shot. Blood coming from him. And we took off running."

Who was shot? MB?

RE:Second, are gunshots during the day so common in this neighborhood that this guy seemed unphased by them going off?

That is both funny and sad.

oh my lord never thought of it what way and it certainly ads crediblity (in terms of what flovor chat was (!) to just check out what/why a hail of gunfire is occuring out front -- some stuff is important --- and that list is , in all liklihood ...somewhat limited -- lets hope the dude is not a married father of 8. He had some serious choices to make huh?!

Its just funny....soap opera writers are pulling their hair out!
