I, for one, do not find that account believable. Why would someone "bum rush" someone who is shooting at him? The natural reaction to gunfire is to flee, not to run directly into it.

Rather like....when one robs a store, the natural reaction is to take off with the booty as fast as you can, not reenter the store, to re-assault the clerk? Clearly, MB didn't operate in "natural" reactions.

I agree with you. Regardless of the outcome, I hope that this officer is judged fairly, when all the facts are in, and not judged based on ramped up emotions. I feel like he's already been judged by many, and not due to any hard facts, but due to what appears to be a distrust for LEO, and, in that area, non-AA LEO especially, and/or a general dislike of LEO in general, by some.

Feeding into that distrust are the first witness statements, in particular Dorians, the lawyers rhetoric and al sharpton et al. Some mighty inflammatory words were used, repeatedly: shot like an animal, executed, assassinated etc.

The protestors have either not bothered to keep up with the developments in the case, or it's all simply falling on deaf ears, IDK. The parents, I get it. I still think they should stop talking to the media though as they are being exploited and it will just add to their anger if OW isn't indicted, or convicted.

He can't be serious.
Doesn't the whole idea of "transparency" carry with it the responsibility to admit or see things that might be unpleasant? Or is this a new kind of transparency, when you want everything laid on the table, but only acknowledge those things which will benefit you, and ignore the rest, as thought they never happened, or worse yet, state, "We're not going to focus on those things...they're not important."

~smh~

I think you've summed up their MO.

Suge Knight
Perpetuating the "snitches get stitches" or as in His case ...shot 6 times

Suge Knight is NOT talking to cops about the 6 bullets that penetrated his body ... refusing to drop a dime on anyone.

Sources close to Suge tell us ... the wounded mogul is fully conscious, although on several occasions police were turned away on false info -- that he was supposedly sedated.

But during one visit cops were actually allowed to see Suge. A source tells us when they asked about the shooting ... Suge acted disoriented, asking, "I was shot?"

Yes , I just learned and posted that a while ago. In the jursidication this happened all homicides go through a G?J

All MOO and speculation, but he may be referencing the fact that a grand jury is being used instead of a preliminary hearing, which is open I believe. As long as a GJ is the route the prosecuting attorney always uses in homicide cases, I have no issue with it. Would I have preferred a preliminary hearing? Sure. I could be wrong, but my understanding either route could be used to determine if a defendant should be bound over for trial and the GJ route was obviously used here.

Um, that audio recording of the alleged shots fired is so unusual. moo

Can you cite the witness statements that talked about crumbling and falling forward please?

I think it came from DJ.

More specifically he said MB fell to the ground and then curled himself in a fetal position. But, you know, take that FWIW because MB was laying flat, on his stomach.

bbm

So he advanced, and then he retreated, and then he advanced again?

Because his body was laying 35 ft. away from the vehicle. That means that he would have to retreat at some point.

So I don't know what you mean when you say he "kept advancing."
According to the witness on the Black Canseco video, he ran away from the car, then turned around, and began to advance towards the officer, who kept 'dumping' [ missing his shots] on him as he kept coming

Also, his vehicle is where he ran from. But the officer probably followed so the shooting was from less than 35 feet, imo

I am not convinced that is a bullet hole. Look at the reflection in the window. Is that logs behind and beside that tree? If so could something from the tree have hit the siding and inside by the window to make that hole. jmo

Not sure, but there was a pile of logs on the grass in some of the photos that were taken, so that tells me where this window is.

Grand Juries

http://grandjuryresistance.org/grandjuries.html

Unlike the "petit" jury, which is used to determine guilt in a trial, a grand jury consists of 16 to 23 jurors who are not screened for bias. The purpose of the grand jury is not to determine guilt or innocence, but to decide whether there is probable cause to prosecute someone for a felony crime.

Thanks for the info. They are not screened for bias?!? Why on Earth not?

It's sad that our expectations (black/white/whatever) for our teens are set so low. Today it seems to be fine that they do a little drugs, steal a little stuff, and act a little anti-social. The higher the bar is set, the better the people. In my opinion, the expectations are so low that certain parts of this country are DEvolving into chaos, third world countries, becoming cities like Camden, Detroit, etc, ad nauseum. Maybe if parents, and society, as a whole, expected better, we would get that? Raise the bar, get better kids.

Oh my bar is set real high...as a result mine set his own real high...

And we both know I'd beat him senseless with that bar, before I called the police, and a therapist, if he ever even considered doing such a thing...

And you know what the sad thing is? Most of those people don't even realize how they (and their emotions) have been manipulated like puppets to further the cause(s) of Sharpton, and the like.

I guess b/c they look at many cases and the whole jury selection process and a jurors possible bias is relevant to a particular case?

I know right? I read that and thought, how did he uncurl from a fetal position?
