How do we even know this tape is genuine? The guy who is talking to some girl doesn't even react to shots. He doesn't skip a beat. Which is bizarre.

At this point, I'm filing it with just as genuine as an orbital fracture. Likely true, but will wait until everything comes out.

IMO When the truth comes out there will not be any settlements owed to anyone. I wish those trying to make this a race case settlement instead of a young man committing a felony leading to his death ,had to pay all the businesses destroyed by the mob they incited and for all the overtime they costs the tax payers.Sorry for his parents loss but their son s actions were criminal and IMO they do not deserve a settlement.

The same law firm got a settlement for Trayvon Martin's family from the HOA insurance. I'm thinking they are going to try to do the same here, except it will be Ferguson PD.

Michael graduated from Normandy High School in St. Louis eight days before his death. His teachers said he was "a student who loomed large and didn't cause trouble", referring to him as a "gentle giant".

Normandy is no where near Troy. The only thing in Troy is Troy. Small, rural town. Normandy is in St. Louis County. To the west of St. Louis County is St. Charles County. To the west of St. Charles County is Warren County. To the north of Warren County is Lincoln County. Troy is the county seat of Lincoln County. 2 completely different worlds. And I mean completely different.

Ok. When I do a search I see he is listed as living in Troy, but nothing I can link to.

The above article made me extremely sad. For the first time since this whole tragedy happened, I feel as if I got to know Mike Brown a little.

His whole life was before him. Now it's over - he'll never know what could have been - the full potential of who he could have become, had he made different choices that fateful day.

Life can turn on a dime. Choices are made. Sometimes we aren't able to see the consequences of our choices until years later, when we can only look back dolefully, wishing we could rewind time and follow the alternate fork in the road.

Other times, the consequences of our choices are immediate, the reckoning swift.

May the soul who once walked this earth as Michael Brown find Eternal Peace.

May the spirit whose light once inhabited the body of Michael Brown find its way Home to the Eternal Light.

We can assume fam's atty's selected Purcells and Baden did not.
Purcells' participation in autopsy - however limited or extensive it may have been -
imo, taints the second autopsy's aura, if not tainting autopsy report itself.

I highly doubt the family would be saying it if they suspected he said it while he was "trippin or rollin." And I'm sorry, but isn't Michael Brown still the victim in this case? Until we know more facts, he is the one who's dead so isn't he technically the victim in this crime?

Unless we have MSM link somewhere which states he was "trippin or rollin" at the time he saw the angel in the sky, I am not going to believe it. JMO.

I know what you are referring to, unless I'm confused. You are referencing the casenet case with a "MB" from Troy, but I am doubtful that is the same "MB" is all I'm saying.

My best guess on the total distance between the hat in the street and Mike's body is 140-150ft. Based on the photos, videos, and Google Maps. If you Google Maps 2947 Canfield and zoom in, Mike's body was straight out from the right stairwell of the apartment building and the officer's SUV was slightly past the storm drain on the left side of the drive of that same building. Those are the landmarks I used for everyone's reference to agree or disagree. For perspective, the Chevy Tahoe is approx. 200" or 16.67ft, so about 8-9 car lengths.

Also, cops carry weapons that hold anywhere between 11-15 rounds.

Serious question. I really don't know how that impacts discussion on this case. There have literally been 11 threads of sleuthing MB as more than just a victim in this case. Seems like that is the exact question put into play by LE.

Yes, I mean, God, they are playing his personal conversation on national TV. He could have easily just shelved it and never told anyone 'bout it. Glad he did (if it's the real thing that is!).

Based on the reaction of the neighbors gathering at the scene after the shooting, I doubt gunfire would just be taken with a grain of salt.

If you've heard the 10 minute video of the scene after the shooting with the anonymous witness, he does describe the shots the same way. "I heard like 8 shots- it's like Boom boom boom, then it was like 4 more. it's like pop pop pop pop pop, stopped for a minute then pop pop pop. I'm thinking that- dude was still standing- I'm thinking he's missing him then he kept coming towards him." that's how that portion of the eyewitness tapes sounds to me, anyway. I hope I'm allowed to post this, it is a video of the scene and hard to tune out the other noise to hear this background conversation.

I know that part is odd to me but if that is a common occurrence where he lives or lived maybe it would not phase him. ME? I would have hit the deck.

I will just reiterate...casenet IS our legal cases. Not just something offered to the public. Not just some independent gathering of documents or arrest records. These are ACTUALLY our cases because we have gone electronic. In other words, lawyer wants to file a Motion for Bond Reduction, they do NOT file a paper version. They electronically file it on casenet and it shows up on there for the whole world to see. Lawyers have a bit more access to different documents but that doesn't change what you see IS the case, not a reporting of the case.

I don't think it's the same guy. MB was born in May 1996 not Sept 1997. Besides, the address isn't near St. Louis either.
