So I know I am late today but curious what other people thought about the audio of the supposed bullet shots? It does fit what witnesses said and I know it was not substantiated yet but it sounds pretty good to me.

IMO and several experts, it looks more and more like a hoax.

Time will tell. What experts have said it is a hoax? I've seen the 2 that essentially say they wouldn't be surprised if it was, but did they actually do any testing or follow up to determine that it, in fact, is a hoax?

Several days ago I observed that IMO if MB had killed the store clerk (who was half MB's size) there would have been no national media coverage.

I meant the lawyer repping the guy who made the tape. Also, if the tape is a fake then I pity the fool, as Mr T would say, who injected themselves into an FBI investigation.

LOL I hate to admit it, but I have to agree! Dispassionate discussion of legal issues is what viewers need to see to learn anything about these cases. It's difficult for people to keep a lid on their emotions, but I expect lawyers to spar dispassionately. JMO

It is so true. I can understand that feelings that it may bring up but when you are on a panel you should have to acknowledge the facts. All of them.

Yeah, it's pretty difficult to say based on the mobility of lower arms. I do not think all the bullets were fired after he turned around, it seems everyone agrees shots were fired before MB turned around. Those reports are very consistent. It's also impossible to guess right now how many bullets completely missed him.

What a shame, especially since a tiny little independent news organization like CNN doesn't have access to all that crazy big time stuff like fact checkers!

IMO CNN is going by "the narrative," not the facts.

I find it hard to believe that the audio recording is a hoax. It has been reported that the person recording was using a video chat/text application for smart phones called "Glide". This program does not store the video files on the smart phone but rather "in the cloud" i.e. on an external server. I am sure that the FBI would be able to obtain a copy of the file along with server records from the company maintaining the server. The server records would provide an accurate time stamp for when the video was recorded. If in fact this is a hoax a person would have to be extremely stupid to use an application like "Glide" that stores files "in the cloud"

I wonder if these "experts" did any research on this subject before they were invited on CNN to shoot their mouths off?

From the sounds of the shots in the audio, I'd guess that the type of gun being fired is a Sig Sauer MK25 or M11 9mm Semi-Automatic or a Glock. The former being a gun of choice for Navy and/or other governmental agencies. If it is a true audio of the officer shooting at MB, the officer did NOT release his entire clip. There were a couple of more bullets left.

But heck, what do I know? :giggle:

Ok, so IF this incident happened in the way most are saying (that MB was shot while charging at OW) to me MB must have known what the outcome would be, so basically he was suicidal, unless he was messed up on some sort of crazy drug(and I sure don't mean weed), then I have a hard time buying that. Why on earth would he charge him like that, doesn't make sense to me, the baddest of bad criminals wouldn't do that, this is either a suicidal or psychotic act. Would love to see the tox report. I'm still staying in the fence with this case so far, but am open minded.

Maximum is 3 bullets missed MB; no more than that. Probably only 2 missed.

Check it out: Dillon Taylor---it was a video on Youtube that showed the entire graphic police body cam but they yanked it. There's still the articles about it though. Very sad, very similar story with the races reversed.

Ok- Had MB stand in son stand on a 2 inch board with sneakers on to make measurements come out the same as the tahoe door/window height- as we have bigger tires- ( and son is taller than I thought). Yes, they are used to Mom and her WS re-enactments; they have done it for another case - or two

eta; son stand in for OW is only 5'7". You can see he is leaning a bit towards his younger brother. MMV as to son sitting's height vs OW's actual sitting height

Guess the occupant could just as easily go for the non-passenger's neck? And do we know that MB was left handed? Was OW left or right handed?
Now, have the non-occupant go after driver's "weapon"............
Might as well re-enact what witnesses have said if you're going to re-enact what 3rd parties and "hearsay" talking heads are claiming? KWIM?
