Lol, ok I'm confused (which is easy to do). :waitasec: If it shows which way the bullet hit the body, wouldn't that also be from front to back, or back to front?

In the body it will show what direction it went but that does not prove position of the body when hit. If an arm is up the front and back of arms are exposed. When running away people pump their arms exposing the front of their arms, So it only shows how the body was hit not where it was shot from if that makes sense.

I completely understand your position and respect it and I also know you and have been following cases alongside you long enough to know that you are one for facts and not one for misinformation so I was glad to help on this particular fact. Because I too was under the same misunderstanding about body laying in view of onlookers for four hours. Someone else provided me the relevant links and it's why I feel confident I now know the facts of it.

Thanks! I have no problem being schooled on the facts that are true. I want the truth so for me there is no advantage to believing a falsehood. I have no agenda or desired outcome. I just want it all to come out truthfully.

I am of the opinion that the GJ will decide that it is more justifiable than not. So no true bill. But I really hope as promised, that we will be able to see for ourselves, the same documents that they saw in their deliberations. I believe that we will NOT be able to know what the witness testimony was. Hope I'm wrong about that. JMO

Did Darren Wilson release a statement?

I believe the only version of OW's events have come from this Josie person... Who could be ANYBODY, OW's friend who did the TV interview and the St. Lou Chief. We have not had any first hand accounts that support this as a justifiable shooting. IMO

(...and I will edit to say that this does not mean there aren't any such accounts in existence, just that it is what we have as things stand thus far.)

How do we know what is considered MSM and what is "political"?

IMO I think most MSM these days is more political than so called "political articles". But that is a debate for another day.

Not to mention the fact that when Michael turned around, we don't know which foot he pivoted on (if he did pivot) or which direction he turned, to his right or to his left.

Interesting. I'm right handed & if I was not shot my natural inclination would be to turn left.

Scarlet, he was covered within 10 to 15 minutes per MSM and police officials statements. he was covered by a sheet by an ambulance driver who happened upon the scene even before official backup and responders arrived at the scene. His feet remained visible under the sheet, true. And it did take some time but he was then hidden behind a partition style device used for such scenes. He did lay there more than 4 hours by LE officials own admissions but that was because the required investigators took longer than expected to arrive to assess and do their jobs and his body was not in view for that four hours. For much of that four hour time span MB was hidden from view of onlookers.

I hope that helps. I believe I or another member linked that information with relevant snips from the articles in the media thread. sometime within the last week when this was discussed several threads back.

BBM. Is it known when the police tape was placed at the scene? Would that be done by the backup and responders? Thanks.

I think they mean stuff like the Conservative Treehouse or such. I noticed when I was doing some source searching that there are some VERY nasty political articles.

Not to my knowledge, other than what he told LE and FBI. But I can't help but think that he definitely recited "excited utterances" to the first LE that arrived on the scene immediately after the killing, and he had at least 14 minutes to talk before he went with EMS to the hospital. And he had time enroute to the hospital to talk....and time AT the hospital to talk. As we know he did not fill out an incident report, and we do not know how much time he had to talk (and be talked to) before he was formally interviewed. JMO

Well, with the Conservative Treehouse, it's right in the name that it's political, but I linked to Vox (which describes itself as "a general interest news site") and apparently that's political too. Now I know, I guess.

I think that 4 hours is too long.
I don't see a reason for it.

Scarlett, hope this helps.

It was not until 12:43 p.m. that detectives from the county police force were notified of the shooting, according to county police records.... The detectives arrived around 1:30, and an hour later, a forensic investigator, who gathers information for the pathologist who will conduct the autopsy, arrived from the medical examiner’s office, said Suzanne McCune, an administrator in that office.

I honestly do not understand why Wilson would decide to shoot one of the two men (Brown) he encountered that day. This was a Saturday late morning/early afternoon, in a crowded residential neighborhood with numerous potential witnesses around. Why on earth would Wilson decide that that scenario would be the perfect time/place to commit his first act of unprofessional law enforcement, not to mention his first (as far as we know) murder?

That makes zero sense to me. Add in the fact that we know that Brown was rather aggressive in his scuffle with the store owner approximately 10 mins before and it makes even less sense.

What does make sense is that Brown was the aggressor once again and Wilson was protecting himself.

I agree. I just don't find this credible. I want to hear his authorized statement and nothing less. Not the Police Chief's version or a friends. But Mr Wilson's alone.

It would be so much better if we had a balanced accounting.

This is an interesting thought cady. Yes he could have told his story right away, but it is also possible that his first colleague on the scene told him not to say anything to anybody until he talks to a lawyer or union rep. Could have went either way I would guess.

Until the Grand Jury has completely heard the case and come to their decision we will not hear everything. And that is the way that it should be. At this point in time none of us have any right to know everything. Let the system work like it is supposed to. Let the Grand Jury do their job. Then, when that is complete, is the time for everything to be released and all of the facts known.

I'd like to know what he was saying with animation to the officer next to him in the Piaget video while they are viewing the body. And also, what that officer is saying to him. JMO
