Cynthia Harcourt, the lawyer for juv ofcr, added that he was not actively facing any A or B felony charges. That we didn't know until today.

So if I'm reading it correctly...perhaps others charges were plead down and adjudicated.

Could be. We see that all the time on this forum.

Otherwise, what is there for the judge to take under advisement?

I'm confused. Have they released his juvenile records? Tia

At this point, I would suspect anything involved in the juvenile court was just dumb stuff that kids do. Delinquency. I highly suspect this wasn't the first time he took something from a store. Wouldn't be surprised if there were theft/shoplifting cases. I would doubt there is anything earth shattering. JMO and MO is often wrong.

At this point...nothing would shock me. I'm just curious.

Truthfully, it doesn't have any bearing on this investigation

Judge may still be considering to release the lesser stuff. I'd be surprised if it is. If he was caught with weed as a minor or alcohol or shoplifted, I don't see what role it will have here. I know others will say it should be relevant but I don't think it would be able to be used in a trial so what's the purpose in releasing it?

I believe any time a family or their representatives are eliciting money and funds from the public and leading them to believe this an "innocent" victim and representing their background in such an innocent way (which the family opened that door) that the records should be public. When hundreds of thousands of dollars are collected under this guise the public has a right to know. Not to mention the community unrest including riots, looting and property damage in the millions.

IMO the only thing possibly relevant in juvenile case...if he assault another officer.

I wonder if DJ was living illegally at Canfield Green, i.e. are convicted felons prohibited from living in subsidized housing? One sure way to reduce crime in a neighborhood would be to kick the felons out imo. Ditto any girlfriend, grandma, roomie who illegally habors them.
