It is not the law that needs interpreting. We know it means OW would have to have a probable fear for his life or someone else's.

What needs interpreting is whether or not OW had probable reason to believe that. It is your opinion he did, that is fine, I respect that. It is not however, a fact.

The statute reads: (2) When he reasonably believes that such use of deadly force is immediately necessary. This is the MO Statute. So all the officer has to feel is that his life or the life of another is in imminent danger. The officer is the one who makes that determination in what may be a matter of seconds.

Please make sure you have the right Statutes due to different states as they may be different. If you want to argue the law make sure you have the right one.
