Is Argus Radio out there? If so, how does his feed compare to KSDK feed?
Yeah, he's there. His picture is usually good but the feed is spotty like the rest of them.

I'm thinking a basic skills course titled, "how to interact with law enforcement and not get shot" is in order.

Paired with a basic civics course.

Yep.
Imoo some folks in Ferguson are again showing such a lack of
knowledge about so many things, it's...well it's pathetic.

Where are all the leaders of these protestors?! You know, the ones that orchestrated this shutdown?

I saw who I thought was Vickers talking to someone who seemed to be in command. Vickers seemed upset. I wouldn't be surprised if he says he had some sort of agreement worked out in order to keep everyone safe and was upset that the agreement wasn't followed through.

What is ironic is that Larry Rice of the New Life Evangelic Center was arrested. He is no stranger to protests. He's done them for homeless causes among other things I can't think of off the top of my head. Will have to say, I'm surprised to see him there with Shahid. Frankly, they should have enlisted him earlier on if they truly wanted to engage more of the white community.

peaceful protest now includes brick and bottle chucking at county officers of the law. Not Ferguson officers, county officers. For those who have been following low these many weeks the county department is teh one many want to take over policing of Ferguson. At least that was a demand a week or so ago. Apparently they are fair game for peaceful bricks tho.

Can the urine be far behind? Disgusted. Where are those civil rights activists who were ostensibly in charge of "organizing" this peaceful event? Now that the peaceful part seems to be falling apart, as with so many other things they have organize they remains invisible, nowhere to be seen.

And blocking the gas station business. Are they going to loot and burn it next?

Rachel Lippmann ‏@rlippmann 6m
.@AntonioFrench - maybe it's time to review whether the power of police to kill should be limited in the city. That got applause.

Maybe he should get out there and put his life on the line jmo

It appears many blacks in Ferguson feel they should be able to do
whatever they want- whenever they want without LEO's
intervening? They just want free reign of the city?
What a crock.

none of the leaders in charge of this planned peaceful protest thought to bring a bullhorn? you know, in case they needed to get the attention of all the protesters and counsel peace when things get out of hand and people start being the opposite of peaceful?

 rather poor planning.

I'm just sorry last night's meeting wasn't broadcast on all the MSM so the entire nation and the world could see what is really going on.

:ditto:

The KSDK reporter just said, off camera, that there are more LE than there are protestors, right now.

looks like people are moving to the sidewalk and some of the protesters dispersing. Whew. Makes me hopeful that maybe they feel they made their statement and this will end soon with no injury.

Not being smart but when has there been a desire to engage more of the white community? The speakers that I could understand made it clear they want black , just black.

Well, a segment apparently has taken up the cause any how.

As for Shahid, did anyone see him standing and stepping back just watching as the very first people who were lying down got arrested? He sure as hell wasn't going to let his azz get arrested. SMH

What a crock.

Add laws, courts, rules, authority, mayor, governor, city council and that's about right, I think.
