Thanks! Yeah, I didn't put in links to everything as it was already too long. The pic with Louis holding her linked above that shows the jacket some. Videos show it more. The weather link was to show that the low that day was 70 degrees. It would've been warmer earlier especially during daylight.

Lol I totally didn't get the connection!!!!

I was able to read it. He talks about MB being unarmed and his body left out for hours...yada yada yada...and how it's been "proven" that he wasn't facing a murder charge and that the rumors are racist...yada yada yada...oh....and they should be spending their time on subpoenaing every single employment record of OW, including every police report, etc...yada yada yada...

Why tell her that and then keep repeating it?

Re the ESPN thing.... if anything of substance, or not, came out on that show it would have been all over SM and repeated on other MSM sites imo. We would have heard it by now. jmo

Ummmm, because she's my daughter?!? Because we joke around?!? Because I can and it isn't a big deal?!?

I am of the same thoughts as you regarding ESPN though. I've been keeping an eye out to see if it gets picked up and I haven't seen it. I'm gonna assume the kid just got picked up on a warrant or something.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch spokesperson Tracy Rouch sent BuzzFeed News a statement refuting what Crump wrote in his letter.

The open letter by Benjamin L. Crump, the lead attorney for the Michael Brown family, is a gross mischaracterization of the weeks of extensive coverage in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch since the Aug. 9 fatal police shooting of Michael Brown.
His letter misconstrues why the Post-Dispatch filed a legal request to determine whether Michael Brown, 18, had a juvenile criminal record. Reports by some bloggers and others on social media have contended that he had a juvenile criminal record.
Our sole motivation is to determine the facts as we continue reporting on many facets of this story.
A family court judge denied the Post-Dispatch legal petition after a hearing about whether to release any possible juvenile record, which led to a Sept. 4 story that shed new light on the issue: Michael Brown had no serious felony convictions or pending cases in juvenile court, meaning no class A or Class B felonies. That was news.
Additionally, the Sept. 4 Post-Dispatch story included this response:
Post-Dispatch editor Gilbert Bailon disputed the idea seeking any juvenile records was designed to impugn Michael Brown.
“We are a news organization that pursues facts, which are the basis of coverage. Innuendo and speculation through various forms of media have raised questions about whether Michael Brown had a criminal record. We are seeking to find those facts without prejudgment or bias.”
“It is ironic that today’s new information appears favorable to Michael Brown by stating he had no record of adult or serious juvenile crimes, yet some have characterized the pursuit of that information as damaging to Michael Brown,” Bailon said.

I'm finding the wording in the last paragraph interesting , and I'm trying to determine if it's more double speak. IDK, maybe I'm just beginning to read all of their statements that way. What's interesting is he's blaming a "blogger of spreading unfounded rumors," when according to the journalist (can't remember his name!) he got the info from police sources. That could be BS on his part in an effort to make his story more compelling, IDK.

THe comment about trying to find out this info in order to "prove he deserved it," is another example of their inflammatory BS IMO

Great compilation there, Klood-N. I love to see disparate dots connected. And it's scary how many risk factors and lack of protective factors were present in MB's life. It's very sad.

Thank you. It seems such a waste that his voice and instructive lessons are silenced for those who want to exploit his death. What if just one young person saw the truth, examined their life, and straightened out or just one parent suddenly flashed on the warning signs and restructured their life to be that anchor? Makes me frustrated and sad what's being done.

You mean one "sitting" gj? What about all the other cases besides this one? Who's true-billing those?

the GJ is . . . MB is not the only case that's being viewed by the GJ of StL County

Nope, not a suspect. An officer involved in an on the job shooting, which are reviewed by the grand jury as a matter of process there.

Whatever label you want to use on him. It is him that will or will not be indicted. And not every officer involved shooting goes to a GJ by they way. In fact, very few do. What you may be thinking of is in cases of this type where there may be charges, McCulloch does use the GJ, its not that every police involved shooting goes to a GJ.

Didn't see anything on here about an encounter with OW. When is this supposed to air again?

It's their E60 program. I have it set to record at 1:15 in the morning, but they rerun so many of those things I don't know for certain this is the one that originally aired on Tuesday or not. The segment on E60 is called Four Weeks In Ferguson. They had like 3 stories they did during the show and this was one of them.

"A woman who knew Lesley [MB's mom] as a child shared a glimpse. Adrienne Hirschfeld was a room mother at Reed Elementary in the Ladue School District, one of the most affluent in the metro area, where her son went to school and Lesley attended as a transfer student, Hirschfeld said. In the fifth-grade memory book, Lesley shared a collection of memories, which reads like a grade-by-grade appreciation of each of her teachers."

The article has these sweet grade by grade notes from little Lesley to her teachers, maybe all white.

Don't twist it. The fact is he's not a suspect. And that's a difference between him and Michael.

Link to this shooting being an exception to standard procedure.
