Yeah, how'd that work out? Let's just instate a full police state/lockdown and every civilian be damned. Good solution. Or, maybe the police could do what they're doing tonight and show restraint. Despite the fear mongers (http://new.livestream.com/timcast/events/3295551) who are waiting breathlessly for a riot, it seems the police who have tried to practice solidarity instead of repression have managed to keep the peace!
I'm not there looting and torching. Those are crimes. I'm pretty sure when officials have locked down neighborhoods, schools, businesses during the commission of a crime in order to PROTECT citizens, those citizens have complied and been pretty appreciative of those who are trying to protect them. After Kent State, my college told students that any protests, sit-ins on campus would result in dismissal from the school. As I stated earlier, in America there are consequences for actions.
