A shirtless dude with a white bandana over his face just came up to the camera guy and told him "Put the camera down. Put the camera down." Trying to intimidate the guy filming the live feed.

I was afraid for him for a minute, but the camera guy pointed his camera toward the ground until the other dude walked away. Phew!

CNN is reporting live from Ferguson, Missouri now.

Probably because it's an every-night occurrence in Any-Town USA. So not exactly headline/conspiracy worthy.

What?????

  • #644
Are you serious? This is not an every-night occurrence anywhere I have ever heard of in the USA.

My mistake. I'm finally able to connect to the video. Tonight it's the residents driving journalists out instead of the police. That would definitely be not an everyday occurrence. Sad that people reach this point of desperation that they make choices that will actually cause long-term harm to their communities. Violence/oppression is never the solution. Very sad.

So Judge, Jury, Executioner. :) ?

No... Just answering your doubts about the integrity of the police reports regarding whether or not the officer knew he was dealing with just a wayward walker or a guy who fit the description of a BOLO of a physically aggressive robber.

So much for the kindler gentler approach.

Covering their faces like the low life criminals terrorists they are!

Watching the Looting and blatant disrespect is making me sick.

@AntonioFrench Honestly this type of thing now calls for military action. No reason businesses need to put up with these losses.

Exactly how I feel! How can these looters justify their actions? They are harming innocent merchants in their own neighborhood. I will never understand this.

Reach this point of desperation? Are you kidding me????

IMO it looks like they're certainly having a good time and thankful for an excuse to gather and wreak havoc. Desperate? Pfffft

Alderman Antonio French has tried to convince the crowd to do peaceful protesting.

Things have taken a disappointing turn. #Ferguson

How is it an 'every night occurrence'? Are you saying there are fires set in stores and looting going on 'every night' in AnyTown, USA? :waitasec:

Post below.

"Judicial rights" ~ last time I looked ...did not include looting, destruction of property, torching, intimidation, throwing bottles.

Whatever point you're attempting to make was completely and totally lost on me.

Is it raining there?

A group of angry men are standing in front of the liquor store, seemingly trying to protect it from looting, and are pi$$ed that the police didn't protect it from the looters.

Some of them sound reasonable, but some of the others sound like they need to lay off the sauce and go home.

And low life terrorists (in your judgement) who are US citizens have no judicial rights? Are we living in Fallujah?
Maybe ask yourself what could drive people to such a point. Again, there is no excuse for lawlessness!! But when law enforcement is perceived and under international law is perceived as using unlawful force ....

Are you watching the live feed tweeting from Ferguson, Missouri?

Nothing drove them to this point. This is who they are. They are low life's and thugs.

Concerned law abiding citizens DO NOT BEHAVE this way. They don't burn building down, and steal to make some sort of an idiotic point.

Peaceful protests absolutely acceptable. But that's not what happening here. This shooting incident did not cause this rioting behavior ...it's simply being used as an excuse. IMO

Police are damned if they do and damned if they don't!
