[h=1]African-American Democrats form coalition to counter "disrespect" for black causes[/h]
Headed by St. Louis County Chairwoman Hazel Erby, D-1st District, the coalition – named for the late Mississippi civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer – pointedly withheld support for Steve Stenger, the Democratic candidate seeking the County Executive post in the November general election.

So what do you all think of recording grand jury witness testimony if IMMUNITY from prosecution is given??

:)

Looks at lot to me like DJ ....aka ...Mr. Ground Zero ...

Is singing a much different tune behind closed grand jury doors.

All IMO

I'd say anything is possible, but I don't know that it's likely.

Josie cannot testify. She is not a witness to anything that happened that day.

I thought that was talk about Mitchell. I could be wrong. I suspect even Josie could testify if the GJ wanted to hear from her. Seems they have pretty unlimited scope in what they consider and they may want to hear what the GF told her that OW said.

Solar Flares.....look it up. :nuclear:

That reminds me of that lol moment last night when a female protester showed incredulity in a "What the heck are you talking about?" tone re the white woman addressing the council regarding her "solar energy panel".

If there wasn't any evidence to support officer Wilson's version, no way would he testify.

IMO

That means....all the forensics back him up...and there's eyewitness accounts as well,..

Just my interpretation....

I asked this the other day and forgive me if I'm just not recalling the answer. Would the results of the forensics even be shared with OW at the GJ stage? I know a prosecuting attorney has a duty to disclose evidence during the pendency of a case, but does that begin during the GJ phase as well? Otherwise, OW has no reason to know either way if his version is backed up by the forensics or other evidence. That is, unless the prosecuting attorney's office is providing them information they don't normally provide the average defendant/suspect/subject of investigation/fill in the term.

JMO How would OW know that all forensics back him up? I thought the GJ evidence is supposed to be secret ?? I think it would be quite hinky if he or his attorney are privy to the evidence. Wish therewere a lawyer here. JMO

IMO if he is telling the truth, he knows the forensics back him up.

Also he knows .. That there is a very good reason why DJ is in federal protective custody for his own protection....
DJ IMO is singing like a bird to save his own butt from prosecution.

Of course he is going to know much of the forensics. For example, if the gun came back with no other prints on it, he may be asked pointedly by investigators, " why did u say there was a struggle over the gun when yours are the only prints...." OR ' why did u say MB shoved the door shut when his prints arent on it? ' OR just the opposite happened. If there are palm prints on the outside of the door and MBs prints on the gun, then OWs attorney might be told of that evidence. Because it would make a difference in his decision to testify or not.

My father was a defense attorney. He was quite often told things by investigators, before the trial. You just need to have good ongoing relationhips and it goes both ways.

If OW testified, I feel certain forensics AND other eyewitness reports show he was justified in his actions that day.

he needs nothing but the truth to back his claim

LOL you are strict! I could tell the truth as I remember it, but may not know every forensic detail about a scary event that went down in a minute! He probably didn't even know how many shots were fired, unless he still had the gun with him when he went to the hospital. Just saying.........JMO
