A discussion on the incident report came up in another forum and I began to think about what OW statement would look like reported by the press.

Original statement:
"When I tried to exit my vehicle MB slammed the door shut, punched me in the face and tried to get my gun. I reached for my gun before he could get it but before I could get it away from him it went off."
Media quote:
"I tried to exit the vehicle...the door slammed shut....I reached for my gun...and it went off."
Original:
"MB stopped, put his hands in the air and taunted me. I told him to stop but he charged at me. I shot him several times but he kept coming, so I shot him several more times until he fell to the ground dead."
Media:MB stopped, put his hands in the air...I shot him several times...I shot him several more times until he fell to the ground dead."
Original: "He must have been on something. I can't believe that he assaulted me, tried to get my gun and than kept coming at me until I had no choice and shot him"
Media: "I can't believe....I shot him."
Original: "I feel sorry for his parents and his family. He made some really bad choices. He didn't have to do all those crazy things that went into causing his death."
Media: "I feel so sorry for...causing his death."

I didn't criticize frydaddy's analysis. Not sure why you take it as such. I don't have to agree with it in order to respect his diligence and hard work.

This collage wasn't my find, I will let you be the judge of it's value as a piece of evidence or rubbish. Obviously top two photos indicate the black car (I believe it's an older model Chevy Lumina, those who posted call it a Monte Carlo, but my often failing memory thought the Monte didn't come in four doors, the equivalent Lumina did) belongs to Tiffany Mitchell. The second two photos are screen grabs from Piaget's video. You'll notice the car behind the SUV pulling into the driveway looks like the same car in the first two photos. My contribution to this is to nail down that the car is pulling into the lot at 12:11p and the first proof of Tiffany being in Piaget's apartment was when Piaget was filming the cop placing the sheet on the body about 12:16p.

What amazes me, and admittedly probably shouldn't, is that these supposed resources and information for "the movement" still contain fundamental factual errors regarding Michael and the events that day. But I guess that's how you keep the people in the street angry. And acting as if it's completely unheard of for investigative details and grand jury information to not be released to the public immediately upon their desire for it. Two words: Terri Horman. Gah. Well, at least some of their future events & actions are listed. I'm sure LE is aware of this info, as they need to be!
