That is backpack guy, the one they tried to arrest earlier but the crowd protested. I think he was already arrested but they were trying to take him into the station. Dont they have private back areas to park and take suspects into station?

I think that's from before- these people are nuts. Demanding white guy who was just tooling around on a Sat afternoon and got blocked by protestors he "ran over and verbally assaulted" 5 peaceful protestors. Ugh

I believe the third hand report has been discussed because it was reported that it matches up with what Officer Wilson reported. Not that the report was correct, just that it matches. This is probably the third time I've corrected this error that keeps surfacing. It is a fact that this woman reported it, yes. Whether or not it can be verified is not known because we do not have OW's testimony. There is a difference.

It's not an error to say we really have only vague info "on the record"- no pics of the injury, no final autopsy, no specific details verified by LE on the record. I think the closest we have to that was statement the "Josie's" story was "pretty close" to the truth. And wasn't that "off the record" too?
Yet people are referring to autopsies (incomplete),pics of injuries and OW's statements as if we have seen them. Just saying, nope- we are hearing second and third hand anonymous reports- and not facts and reports. To me, there is a big difference. YMMV.

<modsnip> Honestly. For all the world to see. This kind of stuff puts race relations back 60 years. Honestly. This really ticks me off. My daughter is African American and this kind of behavior from the AA community only makes people with a propensity toward hate to hate even harder. I hope they take every single one of these people and haul them all of to jail. This is a mob. This cannot stand in a free society.

This IMO is a local thing. I have friends in Springfield, it's not even on the radar

In the hands of the GJ, where they should be. It's important to keep certain details confidential so that the alleged "witnesses" can't continue to tailor their stories around the evidence.

And yet I keep reading posts referring to their knowledge of all these things! IMHO, if OW had visible injuries, that would have been leaked a while ago.
Everything else that could help his case has been.

For anyone who can't or didn't see the feed of the "vehicular homicide" incident. There's backpack guy, in the middle of the lane, blocking the Honda, along with several of his fellow peaceful protestors. If -- and that's a big if -- the Honda moved forward at all, it wasn't by much, and would have been at about 1/2 mile per hour. While backpack guy stood there hoping for something exactly like that.

I got lost one night coming home from Pennsville, New Jersey, I ended up driving through the worst part of Salem. Six or seven big guys were blocking the street....I stopped for a second, reeved my engine and it was on. I drove, if they didn't jump out of the way at the last second, I would have run them over....I would have kept right on going...would have called 911 when I was in a safe place.
I don't like being F'd with.

If he didn't have visible injuries, the hospital would not have taken the x-rays. If he didn't have visible injuries, his story would have fallen apart and he'd probably be in :jail:

Again, the only autopsy that has been referred to is Dr. Baden's and his initial findings. There are no other reports that we have had access to at this time. Posters are permitted to sleuth on the information they have available to them.
