Frustrating. I haven't gotten anything to load since he stopped it last time.

"Please wait for broadcast to begin." :desert:

Mustaffa wanted the ushers name because she told him to get out of here he isn't the press. The other usher told him I didn't see it. Mustaffa said...this is going straight to management. (big deal)

I thought you were not suppose to film a game. Aren't there strict rules and fines for doing so???

I think he said he was shutting the feed down for now- but would be back later with something you won't want to miss. Something like that...

I took a nice long nap and must have missed the big 'shut down' of St Louis Sports. It's baseball now eh? Better decision. Baseball fans are much less aggressive. lol

I apologize in advance ...I never do this...I have been away all day, and I'm too tired to read everything to catch up.
Can someone please just give me bullet point high points from today? What happened at the football game? After the game? Anything news worthy?

This St Louis County PD continuing education course option is getting horrified response from "them".

http://www.stlouisco.com/Portals/8/docs/Document Library/police academy/2014/Mediashoot.pdf

The course is about how LE can effectively deal with the media when a media tornado like Ferguson hits. It mentions "The 900 lb. Gorilla, and "Feeding the Animals" ... but almost certainly the animals are the media and the "gorilla" is not a human, much less a black human. What in that flyer is offensive, because I'm not seeing it?

I don't think they meant it as I'm guessing some are taking it from your post. At least on first reading. The more bothersome thing to me is that it essentially seems to me to be a seminar on how to spin a narrative. Of all the things they should be worried about this is the one we hear about?

Still no live feed. Since I have nothing to laugh at, I guess I'll go pack school lunches.

The Help St. Louis site is "behind The Beauty Store" ... one of the Ferguson businesses looted. Pic of owner and ruined store:

And that tweet was a retweet from Antonio French abt his nonprofit?? And the donation links were disabled?

This week, St. Louis City Alderman Antonio French will open the doors to #HealSTL, adding a physical location to his work in Ferguson, Missouri.

LindaNJ, the football protest sort of fizzled before it began then the baseball game was protested by 20 to 50 or so people. No one was hurt this evening and no major scuffles. No vehicular hate group attacks on protesters or their interns.

Just a lot of rehash of the same ole stuff we knew. JMO Hope you have had a good weekend. you missed nothing major.

Nothing at the football game because Umar Lee decided to show compassion and allow the Rams to play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1JJ_txmoUc&list=UUn0D5epLsNAnpQfAgMzvSSw Maybe 4 protesters showed up.

Now they are at the Cards baseball game, a whole whopping 15 people and are pretty much being ignored or taunted and the live feed from http://argusnewsnow.com/ keeps going out.

Nothing happened at the Football game. They said it was a diversion tactic so that they could go to the baseball game instead. About 3 people showed up, laid on the road, drew some chalk outlines, got yelled at by some locals, and Mustafa Grace went inside the baseball game.

Nothing happened at the football game because there werent enough of them, but the leader of the protest said " we will be merciful and allow them to have their game today.."

Apparently they are now at the Cards Baseball game, and are wandering around inside, pissing off the ushers.

If anything about this case is obvious, it's the need for police to better understand how to effectively deal with the media, which includes anything liable to appear in print, tv, radio, or online.
