but the County's resources are limited & respectfully, since you are a local, you know issues with municipalities within the County (like Chesterfield) not appreciative of "paying" for other municipalities lack of resources or tax revenue (like Jennings, let's say) . . . but yes, the County has more resources, more $$$$$, more clout

Man, this Town/metro area Needs An Enema in a big bad way

We've discussed it before. It's already being done in countless other cities and yes, it would be my tax dollars paying for it. But what the heck, already patrolling Jennings if I'm not mistaken.

Wow, if it wasn't for Paiget Crenshaw, this Canfield apt complex would be lost. She's the only one who videos (well after the fact) crime in her area. Complete with who dun it! Good job Paiget!

They should make her President of the Neighborhood Watch, she's just THAT good.

At least Piaget didn't say, "I watched police burn Mike Brown memorial."

Wait a few days......

I highly doubt that area has any kind of Neighborhood Watch program that is effective unlike what we have in Soulard/Benton Park

Finally Chappelle is calling out black on black crime (note >20 black people have been shot & some dead since 9 Aug) - a girl lost her eye in a shoot out in North City http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/...cle_3151005b-5fc6-528c-99d6-c31d908941bb.html

I think that area is part of the City  I only use I70 to go to the airport from my 'hood . . .

I wish French would call out crime in his Ward, too

Interesting that Piaget saw the fire, video'd it, said police started it then put it out, spread that info via SM and may have called the media, all on the day before residents are set to speak to DOJ about police malfeasance. Hm.

They have Canfield Watchmen.

On Saturday, the group joined Ferguson-based activists the Canfield Watchmen and began distributing the cameras and training residents in their use.

“With these cameras, we will have the ability to challenge the police narrative,” said David Whitt, spokesman for the Canfield Watchmen.

They're the ones not letting investigators in, per reporter Hampel.

A warm greeting when he arrived was not had! Instead he was rudely grilled...and crowd applauded when he left,

Good. He had his fifteen minutes of fame watching the looters go at it.

:cow:

Saw a tweet from someone at memorial that the "paid agitators are back". Some are discussing crashing the Support Wilson event this Saturday.
They talked about crashing it last weekend too, but I never saw any proof that they did. And you KNOW they would have pictures and video if they did

Embarassing

Yep - another reason why StL metro is going the way of Detroit - time to motor even though I love my 'hood, I am no longer "safe" even with my CCW

as far as I know nothing but a "tool" for the protesters IMHO - feeling bad for Officer Ron now, too

I don't. Remember when he said something about being ashamed of the shirt he was wearing?

I wonder if Tiffany knows Piaget isn't at work today.
