Was at the #Ferguson meeting tonight. Blacks say they will continue attacking whites on S. Florrisant Rd until whites confront Ferg council.

About what? Replacing the police force? Ticket amnesty? What can the Ferguson city council do about entrenched poverty in SE Ferguson? Will employers line up to hire angry black people who see whites as racists?

at the USPS? Really? Who pays her salary & insurance & pension or so forth

:puke:

OT but...
Until adoption of the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970, the U.S. Postal Service functioned as a regular, tax-supported, agency of the federal government.

According to the laws under which it now operates, the U.S. Postal Service is a semi-independent federal agency, mandated to be revenue-neutral. That is, it is supposed to break even, not make a profit.

In 1982, U.S. postage stamps became "postal products," rather than a form of taxation. Since then, the bulk of the cost of operating the postal system has been paid for by customers through the sale of "postal products" and services rather than taxes.

Holder today:

"These tensions simmer every day in far too many communities across the country," Holder said. "The situation in Ferguson has presented leaders across the nation … with a moment of decision, a moment of decision, a series of important questions that can no longer be avoided."

"Will we yet again turn a blind eye to the hard truths that Ferguson exposed? Or will we finally accept this mandate for open and honest dialogue?" he said.

Not helping, just advancing his agenda. Moo. :silenced:

There were #Canfield residents controlling traffic and letting people slowly back through as the crowd dispersed. #Ferguson

How nice of them *inserts eye roll that results in one popping out and rolling under the fridge!*

Looks like a false alarm about the shooting

We are being told that people were shooting earlier but not anymore. My apologies. #Ferguson

Oh, OK, just another 'business as usual' shooting, nothing to see here, move along.

Oh I would say there is a racial problem. But it isn't being perpetuated by the "usual" suspects.

Hmmm, let's analyze. They are protesting about oppression, disenfranchisement, and police brutality. Doesn't seem like too many are listening, so the new solution is to force white people to protest for them.

ok then........ *no more eyeballs left* *shrugs*

This will all go away after the mid-terms, mark my words. Oh, there will still be a 'ongoing DOJ investigation' just as there is in the Trayvon Martin case, but the media attention (such as there still is) will dry up and blow away like dust.

As complete as his F&F, IRS, and Bengazi investigations, perhaps. Trying to sit on hands. :furious:

Businesses should up and move out of Ferguson after this. Leave these people to fend for themselves. They will never have any respect for other's property.
