Just a scuffle. A tussle. An encounter. An altercation. (But not in Broad Daylight.)

Personally, I think the Beauty Town windows were taunting them. The rioters could SEE the "other"rioters attacking them! The looters/ rioters/ vandals were forced to DEFEND themselves from those awful "other" rioters they could see in the windows! See, it's self defense, right? If only the windows hadn't been replaced, none of this would have happened, right? It's the shop owner's fault, clearly! Mocking them with new windows. The horror of oppression continues......

(Good thing it wasn't a Toys-R-Us filled with plush bears. Who knows how violent the mob might have become!)
