Heck yeah, I called. As of 2 minutes ago the Office of something-something Empowerment phone was taking messages because nobody was in the office. Now, what if I had gotten myself arrested & need help?

If you're going to #Ferguson make sure at least two people have your full name, DOB & emergency contact. Also memorize 314-862-2249.

Ferguson is going to turn into Flint if they keep this up. If I was a business owner there I would seriously consider relocating. I feel bad for the people who worked at the QT. Not sure how many employees worked there, but I'm sure for each person losing that paycheck hurts.

the pictures do not indicate which law enforcement agencies the officers
wearing these bracelets were from, and we have no other evidence confrming that Ferguson
police officers were wearing these bracelets

Don't even know if it was Ferguson officers wearing the wristbands.

So it sounds like they talked to all involved. County. State. FPD and put it on Jackson to make sure St. Ann or whoever else sends cops abide by it too.

DOJ will find SOMETHING wrong in the department if for no other reason than to justify their existence. Means job security in the DOJ if they have oversight or whatever.

They did. They don't want the officers to wear those wristbands. That's it? Was that the only thing in the letter that they complained about? Those police officers were getting yelled at by the crowd for smiling last night. They were very well controlled and took a lot of verbal abuse anyone of us would have probably lashed out at them over it.

Think about what is happening:
AG resigns
Chief apologizes
Chief tries to talk with protestors
DOJ meeting with citizens regarding any complaints they want to file against LE
LE making arrests of most of the leaders (who can't be involved in any demonstrations until they go to court)
DOJ sends a letter and the only recommendation is that officers not wear wristbands
They rehire the PR man with a police record

I can't think of anything else but what does all this indicate if we put it all together. I know there is more.

I've only ever seen that one pic of a cop wearing the wristband. I'm not even sure there was more than the 1 cop wearing one of those wristbands.

It's almost sad to see how consistent the rioters are in their lack of information. Apparently, they have not kept abreast of the vast surveillance capabilities in the US. That's ok. LE is aware. And I bet some good citizens help with intel too. ;)

Do they lack the information or just chose to ignore it?

http://www.organizemo.org/statement_from_more_jail_support_team_on_9_25_arrests_in_ferguson

Statement from MORE (the phone number) regarding last night's arrests. MORE is more than just about Ferguson, but they have certainly taken a position with regard to some of the issues in Ferguson.

Good to hear. Been saying they need to arrest them during the day when there are no crowds and no cameras to play to. Quietly get them during the day. By the time they get out of jail the night has passed.

But they don't usually flaunt the laws as much during the day. Harder to find something to arrest them for. Especially with DOJ breathing down their necks...

They can arrest them the next day for the actions of the previous night(s). In fact, I think LE has been recording everything and will start making arrests and the arrests are going to be for multiple things. The same people constantly show up, so instead of arresting someone for doing 1 thing on 1 night, now they may arrest that 1 person for 30 different charges for things that have happened over the last month and a half. Just a thought. Dunno.
