Chief "All I can say is this is a f'in tragedy."

Chief talking in a calm, fatherly fashion to mob.

Dear Mr. Obama, Mr. Holder, Rev. Sharpton, et al....you have all been asking the question as to why these people have been treated so harshly by the FPD. I think you have your answer.

Oh chit. Chief Jackson?

He gotta go to jail! He gotta go! (About Darren)

"How come you violated Sunshine Law"? WTF??

Wow...you guys are all so fast! Thanks for the link! Are you sure this is the right one? The title says "Candlelight vigil!" LOL!

I was just wondering the same thing. I think they'd break up and disband myself but it's a risk I would not be willing to take if I were LE.

Perhaps the real protestors might, but in every group of peaceful protestors so far, there have been a few troublemakers, so I have to agree that I would not be willing to take that risk.

"Why is 92% of the people in your courtroom black?"

Because 92% of them committed crimes?!?! Because the majority of people in Ferguson is black?!?!

I'm feeling a little nervous for Chief Jackson.

So, just a general musing here, but I wonder what the protestors would do if they came out again tomorrow night, but the police didn't? They state that the police are antagonizing them, so if the police did not come out tomorrow, are we supposed to think that they would peacefully walk up and down the street, holding signs, and chanting their chants? Or, do you, like myself, think that they would be breaking out windows, looting, shooting, gitting all crunk? Cuz I think that is what would happen IF the police opted to stay away. JMO.

Wonder how many calls they would log from angry citizens if they did stay away? Might serve as a reminder that they are indeed protecting, but it would be a horrible price for innocent citizens to pay in terms of property loss, etc.

Ummm....many of them sound drunk! Chief just calming drinking his water bottle.

Nice that the lady mobber in the Ferguson Freedom Fighter t-shirt took the time to put on her lipgloss before rioting! It's an occasion where one must make every effort to look their best. There may be hookups! Or, you may be without makeup in a holding cell for a while, so go out chanting and looking good!

Too bad it wasn't super glue.

Seriously, I'm really going to bed now

Please don't start with all the math. I crunched numbers for six hours today.

K_Z, I don't. He keeps giving in to them. He decided to apologize to them for doing his job. He has put himself in this position. He didn't have to go out there to talk to them. He had to have known that him being there would start them up all over again.

MOO

Wow. Blast from the past from the mob, 1970.. "Na na na na, hey hey hey.....goodbye...."

  • #58
Ok, I agree w one rioter. Makes no sense in comin' out here and talkin' to us cuz we're not leavin'!

  • #59
They won't shut their mouths long enough for him to answer any question.

I'm guessing some don't want him to give the answers, and some just have no sense or discipline.

It's hopeless.

They won't even listen to the Chief. They just start chanting and screaming mindlessly when he's speaking.
