This mob doesn't care to hear what Chief Jackson has to say. They don't want information. They just want to scream obscenities, threaten to kill police officers and their families, and make unreasonable demands.

They want Jackson to resign. They want Officer Wilson dead.

They want free rein to intimidate & threaten whomever disagrees with them.

And these are the people who were angry at not being heard all these years?

Well, we've heard you now, and I hope the whole world has heard your fine message.

Most of the protestors are young. Way too young to have had years of being stopped for traffic violations they think are unfair. One man yelled he had gotten $100 ticket he felt was unfair.

I wonder if the cops are even hearing anything these people are saying any more. I would imagine at some point, it all just sounds like jibberish. In one ear and out the other.

The "comments" that include their families don't though, no matter how many times they hear them (do I really have to say "IMO," or is this just a given?)

A big thank you to everyone that stuck with it and watched til the end. :loveyou: Protests during the school year aren't ideal for me :giggle: Summers are better.

Bearing witness to what our LEO are going through just feels like something we should do. I wish I could start a Ferguson PD pen pal club and send them all letters of appreciation. Hell, I wish I could send each and every one of them a steak and lobster dinner.

As a matter of fact, that's exactly what I'm going to do! I'm going to find the Ferguson PD address and send a thank you card. I send one to Jeff Ashton during the Casey Anthony trial.
