Oh how smart would that be!!!ETA:

I still don't understand, why are the protestors not happy with this going to grand jury and waiting for their ruling? I would think that no matter how upset you are over what happened, that letting the justice system handle it would be the only acceptable way to move forward. It's known too that if the GJ doesn't indict that all the evidence will be released. I just don't get why they can be so certain in their position without knowing all the evidence. I know there are examples of LE doing things that are completely wrong, but what more than evidence and a jury could you want?

B/c they've decided to make this case the tipping point regarding all of their grievances concerning racism, police brutality, etc., etc. The problem is they picked the wrong case IMO.

They know this I think, but they aren't going to back down now. Despite their continued protests that they continue to be treated unfairly, the truth is LEO and the DOJ are bending over backwards to accommodate their demands.

Given recent events, I'm really starting to believe there will be an indictment, if not by the GJ, then by some sort of action by the DOJ.

IMO

Many of those protesting do not care about the truth. They want any police officer to go down for this. I have a feeling even if there is clear cut video that MB was completely in the wrong they would still want him to go down.

totally agree

IMO, their understanding of how the world works is so skewed. They believe they own the street, own the police department building, police are their staff and must do what they say, laws and rules don't apply to them, etc. if I took my things and left them lying on a street, on a sidewalk, on a lot, in a parking lot, I'd expect them to be removed.

It's been the largest example of ignorance seen displayed in a long time. imo

Many of those "protesting" are NOT protestors! They loot, burn, riot, shoot their guns...and so it goes. I think there's another name for those kinds of folks!

I wonder if those pizza shop owners know this will happen? Or the Ferguson PD for that matter.

ITA! I would not, however, begrudge the owner from faxing a "coupon" to the FPD that says half price pizza & beer to off duty FPD who can show their badge. :)

I think that is SOP for a lot of businesses anyway. Helps keep the cops on your good side when you need some extra attention. I wonder if it still that way for mailmen too. My neighbor was a mailman in the 80's and he said everyone on his route gave him freebies all day long. He gained a lot of weight his first six months on the job!

I have to believe that any and all threats or hints of a threat are being followed by LE. If they are not, then that would be such a level of incompetence and a failure of duty that I would not have any words for it.

I think that is far too optimistic.

What does everyone think about the Chief's apology tour? A LEO friend was saying last night it must be because they do not know which way the GJ will go, and are hedging bets in case of indictment. Haven't seen enough reliable info come out to guess either way.

Abandoned property is abandoned property. If your car breaks down somewhere in someone's parking lot - they can have it towed. Same with signs...even if they were stacked in a pile. If there was somebody around they would have probably been given the opportunity to take them away. Same goes for garage sale signs on telephone poles, or "Lost dog" signs. They can be thrown away. They are considered abandoned property. JMO, JMO, JMO.

And they are HUGE signs that say things like FIRE CHIEF JACK ASSSSSSS.......so what do they expect the FPD to do with them?

I think the PD has been looking at many of the twitter accounts. I think they have seen this. I hope so.

Does the weather get mad cold in #Ferguson? Will winter coats need to be collected in the coming months? (cc: @HealSTL)

:what:

What really started the brawl last night in #Ferguson...wasn't the cops #MikeBrown pic.twitter.com/r8L7i7elq7

I don't get it.

We need a flow chart of all the players.

He is a radical Palistinian and I think he is bringing his HAMAS politics over here, JMO :cow:

note: he sometimes accuses the FPD of being ZIONISTS....:waitasec:

From what little I've read about him I'm inclined to agree with you (MO). I wonder if the Feds are keeping an eye on him?
