Olivette couple has gone missing, police say

[...]

Their last known whereabouts was around Interstate 270 and Lilac Avenue in north St. Louis County around 3 p.m., police said. They did not return home that day; their family called police on Friday.

Laws has two young children who are safe. Her family said it was not like the couple to leave without a word. Police on Saturday could not locate their cell phones.

I have a bad feeling...

I wonder which way they were going on 270. The next exit after Lilac before you hit the Mississippi River is sketchy. I wonder if they were visiting someone as their last known location is a fair distance from where they live.

Her FB says she buys cell phones in any condition.
She has over 4K FB friends.
Those 2 things make me worry.

Authorities search for suburban St. Louis couple

Forty-three-year-old Michele Laws and 47-year-old Igor Zhukov haven't been seen since Thursday afternoon at a QuikTrip in north Saint Louis County.

Police tried to track their cellphones but couldn't find them. Laws' sister-in-law, Kelly Laws, says she believes the couple was buying and selling phones they got off the Internet.

How far from Joplin is the crime scene?

I wonder if they had a business meeting there?

This is just awful.

Prayers.
