Public Statement Regarding Runaway/Missing Juvenile Case

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the disappearance of 14-year-old Jasmine McKee who has been missing for approximately two weeks. We want to assure the community that this case remains a top priority.

Our office has been working closely with the child’s family, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, and other state and federal partners. Investigative steps have included phone and data pings, interviews, and coordination with multiple agencies to pursue all available leads.

We understand the community’s concern and the urgency of finding this child. While we cannot release every detail of the investigation in order to protect its integrity, we want the public to know that our deputies and partner agencies have dedicated significant time and resources to this case.

We ask the public to avoid spreading unverified information, as it can hinder the investigation and cause unnecessary distress for the family. Anyone with credible information is urged to contact the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at (417) 547-7182.
