If you mean the girl interviewed in that crime watch show then yes, she is fine (as in she's alive.) Remembered her name and Googled her, found her FB page and that's how I know. (Initials are KF on FB.)

I saw those video's a while back and wanted to know if she was doing alright after what she went through and then I noticed she posted a lot about KY and JR's disappearance and it seemed she knew more info but she kept it private. (Always baffles me how much you can find online though because people don't put their pages on private.)

Yes she is the one I was thinking of. Glad to know she is alive and well. Thanks.

It doesn't seem like there's ever any info after the searches. I have to assume that means nothing was found. I read somewhere that the searches are in conjunction with what KCPD is doing. Not sure how that all works.

OT: Wasn't there a girl with dark blue hair interviewed by media about KY?
A girl with dark Blue hair was found by the side of I-44 in Phelps county, MO. It's quite far from KC but not so far from Edwards (about 2 hours drive).
http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/...cle_e1d504fb-ad1a-5eaf-92d8-0155b5f0ef39.html

I made a thread for her here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...Blue-Hair-18-20-I-44-Phelps-County-1-Oct-2016

I just couldn't stop thinking of the girl with blue hair that I saw talking about KY. I hope she is ok.

Just as an update on this, the Phelps County Sheriff's office posted about the UID with blue hair on fb: https://www.facebook.com/Phelps-County-Sheriffs-Department-119838724753999/
Someone in the comments actually suggested Jessica Runions and the Sheriff office replied that they checked photos of Jessica and it was not her.

All I've been able to gather as far as the location of the searches is Truman Corners, aka Truman Marketplace. It's in Grandview. It's a 12 minute drive from where JR's burned vehicle was found.

Not sure if any of this will help but the search yesterday I think was supposed to be around the woods near Truman Corners in Grandview. There's a search poster on FB somewhere. I haven't seen many news articles on where searches are happening, other than that some businesses have chipped in money and services to help out search teams, found that in this article... http://fox4kc.com/2016/09/19/busine...ch-for-missing-raymore-woman-jessica-runions/ JR mother seems to post a lot about where she has been searching on FB, and as far as I can tell I think she searches a lot on her own or with two or three others. The organized searches seem to only occur on Sundays, but I could be wrong. Sorry I don't have news links at this time, I will look later on today and see what I can come up with. I wish that media would at least be on top of this aspect...I know they can't really report much on facts and such as the case is sealed but I think it would be helpful to keep the momentum going on finding this girl if they would at least put something about the searches that family and friends have been doing. It might help get more people involved in those search groups and spread them out over a wider area. I don't want this case to slip out of sight like so many others do and be forgotten. I'm not sure why this particular case has caught my attention like it has, maybe because I'm fairly local to it, but I can't get it out of my mind. Where is she?

Just did search on Google and there are more articles than I thought there would be. This one states that LE suspended their physical search for Jessica on September 13th, so it appears that searches since have been organized by her family, friends, or others who just want to help: http://www.kshb.com/news/police-are...jessica-runions-a-week-after-her-disppearance Another about help/fundraisers from local businesses: http://www.lsjournal.com/2016/09/28/142064/restaurants-raise-funds-to-help.html This one about the private search on Sunday...Meeting place was old Sam's Club at Truman Corners in Grandview: http://921news.com/private-search-public-assisting-search-jessica-runions/ From September 13th, the family searched an area at Bannister Road and Blue Ridge Parkway: http://fox4kc.com/2016/09/13/family-steps-up-efforts-to-locate-missing-jessica-runions/

Edit on my last post: Not sure if this is right, but I believe that the last article listed from the 13th contains a misprint...It says that the family searched the area of Bannister and Blue Ridge Parkway and that the reporter saw the area where JR's car was burned. A Google Map search shows no Blue Ridge Parkway in the area, but Blue Ridge Boulevard in Raytown several minutes northeast of the area where JR car was found, so this should probably be edited to say that they searched around 95th and Blue River Road and Bannister Road bridge near where the car was found. Since this was in the earliest days of JR being reported missing, I assume they focused most efforts around that particular area.

Media coverage has slowed... Relooking at an older article that says Kylr had been required to wear a tracking belt until August. Link: http://www.kmbc.com/article/police-search-focuses-on-home-where-kylr-yust-recently-stayed-3/3859717 Why did they stop tracking him?
He was released in February for the drug trafficking charges but still had to serve three years supervised release. He was given a lesser sentence of 45 months because he didn't have a federal record at the time. Typical time served for the crime he committed is 70+ months. KY went to a halfway house in February and then was placed on home confinement at his grandfathers house in April. That ended in August when he was released from federal custody. He had to serve a weekend in jail at the beginning of September for a probation violation. My opinion is that KY has a criminal history, a fairly violent one at that, and violated parole after he was granted a lessened prison sentence by the good graces of the justice system. He wants to violate parole and not follow the law, slap the tracker on and don't take it off until the end of his supervised release. Sorry, that covered way more than you even asked :) See for references: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/jessica...irlfriend-kara-kopetsky-who-vanished-in-2007/ http://www.kansascity.com/news/local/crime/article102134552.html

Something I just picked up on but may not be important...I've noticed that KY seems to "act up" in September...He was arrested September 11th in Edwards for burning JR's car. He was also arrested September 11th in 2011 on animal abuse charges for killing kittens and throwing them into the creek...related also to the protection order taken out by the girlfriend he strangled...I wonder if that date or some time around it doesn't hold some significance for him. Didn't he and Kara start dating officially around September?

Now I know this is going to sound strange and implausible but....I wonder if he suffers allergies at all and it really goofs him up...especially this time of year. Bad behavior is often cyclical and often predictable depending on the month. I don't have any scientific data on this. Just what I've observed.
