Noticed this in nursing facilities as well as my mom saying about her high school students, and in retail. I had a PT tell me that some of the reasoning behind it may be the fact that the moon's gravity controls water (tides) therefore when they are full the pull is greater therefore the water balance in the body is disrupted and since the brain is surrounded by water/Cerebral Spinal Fluid and we are 80% water things can get kinda crazy if your sensitive to the changes.
Full moon and storms also bring babies theorized to be caused by gravitational pull on water from moon. Medical folks will tell you Noone wants to work in ER either during full moon and law is very busy also. Definitely plays a part.

I think whatever happened had a bit more to do with Kylr's very concious decision making, however snap it was, and his level of intoxication more than it did a force of nature. I am not discounting bipolar mood swings (I know first-hand they are formidable) but I don't want us to lose sight of the fact that he has done some terrible things, on purpose, knowingly, and the moon is no excuse. If he is found to be an absolute lunatic later on, then the state of Missouri has let two women perish due to their negligence.

It is frightening. I'm local to this and it gives me chills to think where he's been and what horrible things he's been up to. I think he's done this more than once or twice, but that is just my feeling. KY reminds me in many ways of Ted Bundy. Just the mannerisms and the cocky, sneering attitude he has when shown with reporters. The difference is he seems to form serious, obsessive attachments with his victims. I think he is a lot more intelligent than he has been given credit for over the years. Also very manipulative and cunning. He makes my stomach turn. I made a post on one of the earlier pages of this thread that KY lives in almost what you might call the perfect location for a serial killer. It's very easy and the routes are very accessible for him to get wherever he wants to go in a very short amount of time. If you look at the map and find where he burned her car, you can see that he could be in Kansas in about 15 minutes, and from there, really anywhere in the more rural areas of Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties in another twenty or thirty minutes. Reports also show that he was apparently working in Kansas. I don't think he's dumb enough to transport a body across state lines, just kind of puts into perspective and shows how easily accessible everything was to him and how well he knew how to get from place to place.
I think he would absolutely cross state lines to hide a body.

I don't necessarily think that the moon made him do it...Makes him sound like a werewolf...I just think that there's something around the beginning of September that sets him off. I do not discount that he's done some horrible things, or that he alone makes the decisions that he does. I'm just personally interested in the why of it.

He very well could have, though I feel like she's closer to the area where he lived in Missouri. Just my feeling. Only he knows at this point what he did.

Someone remind me who created the timeline?

It needs a small correction. This is coming directly from Jessicas Mom. She did not call at 10:30PM on the 9th to report Jessica missing. It was between 8PM and 9PM (closer to 9) and she did it in person at the police dept.

I know it's only a small bit of info but I think it needs to be correct.

Have a trail camera? Police say footage could be key in Jessica Runions case

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
The Kansas City Police Department is requesting anyone who has a trail camera to review footage taken on Sept. 8 or Sept. 9.

Detectives believe the footage could be key in solving the case of Jessica Runions' disappearance.

Those with cameras are encouraged to review footage taken Sept. 8 or Sept. 9.

If you see a dark SUV or anything "out of the ordinary," it's recommended to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.

Runions has been missing for nearly a month. Kylr Yust has been charged with knowingly burning her vehicle, which was found Sept. 10

What is a trail camera?

A camera people put up in wooded areas, usually meant to catch video of wild life. Some of them are motion activated only.

Is it safe to assume LE believes something happened to Jessica on the 8th or 9th since they are only requesting footage from that time frame? This narrows the search then, as it doesn't seem that Kylr took her down to Edwards where he was picked up.

I would think there should be a lot of trail cams right now. If deer season hasn't opened in Missouri yet, it should soon. Many hunters place trail cameras before the actual start of the season as to get a good idea of what's out there when the season is open.

That is a broad statement are they targeting trails in a specific area of KC?

That's what I'm assuming. Either that or they are looking for concrete evidence to prove that KY burned that car in an effort to create a more concrete case for prosecution. Deer season began on the 15th in Missouri, so I'm assuming that there should have been several trail cams in place in anticipation for the season starting the week after JR went missing. A heavily wooded area like where her car was found, I would guess there's several cams around. http://huntfish.mdc.mo.gov/hunting-trapping/species/deer/deer-seasons-hours

This article just says the metro area. http://www.kmbc.com/article/police-...n-yield-clues-in-jessica-runions-case/4808877 I'm assuming they are looking for places that KY and JR would have gone after the party, as well as any evidence of KY burning the car and where he was with the car between the party and when it was burned. Maybe they will narrow it down to like a square between Blue River Road to E 87th and Raytown road to 470 and then back around... https://www.google.com/maps/dir/873...5571ed767e!2m2!1d-94.5585046!2d38.9486304!3e0 This is still a large area but it narrows it down. Maybe at this point they just want anything they can get people to submit and then they'll weed through to find whatever they're looking for.

It should be broad. Everyone within a 100 mile radius should review their cameras just in case. I highly doubt he dumped her anywhere close to places he resided or stayed occasionally. She's probably some where in between them.

Thanks Scout that was what I was driving at, your analysis is always greatly appreciated

I wonder why it has taken the Police a whole month to make this appeal? I mean if anyone had a camera I'm sure the owner(s) would have reviewed and found something by now or else any footage would be lost in the recording loop by now.

Not sure but I noticed today that Jessica is no longer listed as missing on the Missouri State Highway Patrol active missing persons site. http://kcmo.gov/police/missing-persons/ She is also no longer on the KCMO PD Missing Persons page. http://kcmo.gov/police/missing-persons/
