Yay! I am so glad that it is not Kara yet still very sad on the other hand. If it is not Kara it is somebody's daughter, the chances are high that there is a thread for her on this site. Now I will sit on pins and needles until they release the identity

Rhonda Beckford told NBC Action News reporter Russ Ptacek that Belton investigators contacted her shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday and told her that the body is not 17-year-old Kara Kopetsky.

Basically the only additional information he provided was that they were investigating if a crime was committed elsewhere and the body was then placed there, and will continue to work on identification.

I couldnt find anything on the 17 yr old male they keep speaking of, makes me wonder just how many "runaways" that are out there that we never hear anything on the news about?

I can't sleep now! I am happy/sad/confused/don't know how to feel at this point. Glad it isn't Kara/sad it is someone else's child/confused as to how a missing child ends up 2 miles from where Kara left/wondering if I should be celebrating or mourning another's loss. I give up...I am going to eat.

The other 4 are listed on page 18. Anyone familiar with how close those areas are to where the body was found. Still it might be someone else entirely.

SS, I am confused at how i feel. I dont know if I should be happy or not. While it is good news this isnt Kara, it just means she is still out there somewhere. I for one DO NOT think she ran away.
