They brutalized this man and left him to die:

http://www.joplinglobe.com/news/loc...cle_2989c9ed-a2a5-5d0c-b3b9-312d2c9894f9.html

Sikeston police spoke with a witness on Friday, July 1, who told them that he was suppose to buy a motorcycle from Larenzle Coleman in early June, but the deal had not come off. Then suddenly, the night of June 26, Coleman had called the witness and told him that he'd just found a motorcycle. Coleman called him again at 3 a.m. on June 27 and agreed to meet him in Howardville with a motorcycle that he would sell him...

The witness, who ended up not buying the bike, told police that Robinson made a comment to him about having been out with the mosquitoes at 3 a.m. getting it for him and damaging his truck's tailgate in the process...

An autopsy determined that Larry Weaver suffered severe trauma to the top of his head with a portion of his scalp missing and his skull exposed. He also had sustained bleeding on the brain and three broken ribs. The pathologist believed the cause of death to have been from "a combination of the way he was tied up," the loss of blood from the head trauma and subsequent exposure to "the elements for an extended period of time," according to a probable-cause affidavit.

To Larenzle Coleman, Ronnie Carl Robinson, and Elsie Coleman-Hamilton, one motorcycle was worth more than Larry Weaver's life.

I signed up for the court email alerts.

RIP, Larry, and best wishes to your bride, Regina.

Larry Weaver's life matters....

Well, I just read the part of them tying him up with ropes around his neck and the ropes were so tight that it pulled his ankles up towards his butt. and they also dragged him.

I don't understand why they had to be so evil and tortured him. Theft of the bike is bad, but why not leave it at just stealing the bike. Why torture him and leave him there to die? This upsets me greatly. I don't understand the hatred and evil these people had toward Larry. What kind of people are these people? How can they live with themselves???

IMOO.

Frying these savages would be too good for them. My heart hurts for Larry....just trying to get his motorcycle back from worthless thieves that are too lazy to work and earn it themselves. I'm nauseous reading how they tortured this innocent man.

These three savages do not deserve to live another minute. They have proven that they are not worthy of living in a civilized world or at all. Their lives don't matter. I only wish we had the guts to do to them what they did to Larry but no person with a soul could do such a thing. They are the children of Satan, send them home.

Husband, wife to be tried in fall for slaying of Kansas man near Sikeston

http://www.semissourian.com/story/2411462.html

New Madrid County Judge Fred Copeland has set aside three days, starting Oct. 25, for the trial of Ronnie Robinson and Elsie Coleman Robinson, according to New Madrid County Prosecuting Attorney Andrew Lawson.

The husband and wife, who are charged with first-degree murder, robbery, kidnapping and tampering, are accused in the June 27 death of Larry Weaver.

Weaver, who recently had retired from Pittsburg State University, had stopped June 26 in Sikeston, Missouri, as he was returning home to Pittsburg from a motorcycle event. Authorities said the pair, along with Larenzle M. Coleman, were discovered by Weaver as they were stealing his motorcycle. After Weaver attempted to stop them, he was severely beaten, bound and later found dead in a cotton field southwest of Sikeston in New Madrid County.

Coleman is a cooperating witness against the Robinsons, so his case is set for Nov. 14 for an appearance.

Jurors return guilty verdict in murder trial

Three persons are charged in the kidnapping, robbery and murder of Larry Weaver. Two blamed the Pittsburgh, Kansas, man’s death on Ronnie Carl Robinson. Robinson, in turn, testified it was his wife’s brother, Larenzle Coleman, who was responsible for the death.

Following two days of testimony and approximately two and a half hours of deliberation, a jury found Ronnie Carl Robinson guilty of second degree murder, first degree robbery, kidnapping and first degree tampering with evidence. Judge Fred Copeland, who heard the case, set sentencing for 1 p.m. Sept. 6.

During the trial, which began Thursday, the New Madrid County jury of six men and six women heard testimony by 13 witnesses, including Robinson along with Robinson’s wife, Elsie Coleman Robinson, and his brother-in-law, Coleman, who are also charged in connection with the crime.

In presenting the case against Robinson, New Madrid County Prosecuting Attorney Andrew Lawson told jurors Robinson “killed a complete stranger for no other reason than he wanted his motorcycle. … He kidnapped and brutally murdered him.”

Larenzle Coleman is scheduled to return to court on October 23rd. Elsie Coleman currently does not have court date listed.

Robinson's sentencing is scheduled for September. Wouldn't it be nice to have a courtroom full of citizens, many in motorcycle gear, to observe?
