:floorlaugh:I was thinking "Nobody is chipping my Grandbabies" but I was worried about being too opinionated...I am so glad the great Sorrell is here to disabuse me of that notion. :bananalama: Just a moment of levity in an otherwise frustrating day waiting for new of this sweet babygirl.

And any abductor would be digging that chip out ,first thing. Not the answer ,IMO.

There would be fewer abductions and murders if the pedophiles and molesters were kept in jail the first time.

JMO, not implying guilt or innocence, but I believe if my child was missing I would be so drugged by the doctors that I would probably fail also. I doubt anyone could make any sense out of what I was saying.

Well, jmo, but if you were taking anxiolytics or sedatives, you should not be taking the test. The results wouldn't be valid.

Considering the risk of being abducted is extremely low, a chip does not seem necessary to me. As we know far more children die in automobiles or in home accidents and no one says "no riding in cars for my kid(s)." JMO of course.

I have a heard time believe a teenager would take a baby unless it was for sexual purposes.

I think, IMO they are looking closer to home.

I agree. More likely take the cell phones, computers, anything of value that could be carried easily, alcoholic beverages, drugs, etc........not the baby.

I do believe that I have heard tell of folks trying to skew LDT results by taking benzos. :waitasec: I do not think I would even pass on my name and addy. I am tightly wound.

No chips for me or my loved ones - but I'm old-school, as are my daughters. We rather like the idea of privacy & freedom of movement, despite the so-called "risks".

With the way people can hack and stuff now days, I wouldn't want my kid to be a target either....

I think I read 2 different things..

Did DB state she left the door unlocked or that she was unsure if she left it unlocked?

It was unlocked when JI got home. If the window was the point of entry, then maybe the perp unlocked and ran out the door for a faster getaway.

She is unsure if the door was locked or not.

I agree with you about the window being the point of entry and perp unlocking the front door and exiting. I think it is possible.

I wonder about jeremy not showing much emotion. I know at one time I was on a low dose anti depressant lexapro. During this time my gmother passed away. I felt so bad at the funeral, I could not cry, couldn't make nyself cry and felt really bad about it.

Hi Feisty !
I wondered a/b this too, but, if Jeremy just started taking anti depressant's, when Lisa disappeared, they most likely have not effected him yet. Usually anti depressant's take a couple of weeks to start working. I was on Lexapro long time ago, and I too had the same experience. So that being said, his flat affect bothers me some, there is a pic of him and Debra, where she is leaning into him with her head on his chest, and instead of comforting her, his hands are in his pockets ? :waitasec:

I don't put any stock into Debbie failing the poly. LE can tactically say what they want to further their investigation. They didn't even tell her how she failed it. It is a strategy. The reason they don't poly the dad is that they want a "failed" poly among the two of them to rip the seams open between them if there is anything one or both of them are hiding. They want finger pointing to start. They need to pit them against each other rather than with each other to ferret out truth if this is not a stranger abduction. If this is not a stranger abduction, my gut says dad is behind it and mom is not long off from realizing the truth. She seems of average intelligence, but likely with sub-par emotional intelligence. She may be in denial about her fiance and relationship. She seems genuine in her despair and lack of knowledge of what occurred. Police have NOT confirmed his alibi is solid, only he has. I am not banking that this was an inside "job" (that sounds awful), but if it was.. my 2 cents are on the father. He has little to say, his body language is guarded, he almost whispers his responses like he is withholding information, he doesn't seem to truly comfort her when she is melting down at moments, he seems detached, unemotional and flat. Sniffles, but no tears, no anger, no signs of distress other than guarded. JMO.

Ella, I agree with what you're saying that these statements are okay, but Kansas City isn't southern. It's midwestern. Which is fine whatever terms they use, but I wouldn't be assigning "southern terms" to them. They aren't in the south.

I do realize where KC is....and no one is really assigning anything. We were discussing why speech analysis could be inaccurate. It doesn't take into consideration the regular personal speech patterns and habits of an individual.

I would say though that some Southern speech patterns are noticed in parts of Missouri and Oklahoma. I did learn that in college.

It's used in investigation and interrogation. Here's a link to a book on it. http://www.crimeandclues.com/index.php/criminal-investigation/🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬/29-🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬-what-do-suspects-words-really-reveal

It came up a lot in the Casey Anthony case too.

I dunno, I'm not too impressed with the endnotes. Maybe I will ask around at work tomorrow. Thanks for the link!

What? A grand jury has been seated on this? I have given up trying to read every post...but is there really enough to take it to a grand jury? I'm stunned...
