Ugh, please don't let this be another that we can not solve. :maddening:

For my timeline, I have a conflicting story that I need help on.

Are both boys the mom's from a previous relationship or is one boy the dad's and the other the mom's? I've seen both.

Okay, I'm stuck on this one still sorry...Are there any other exits out of the house that are not at the front of the house - which looks to me to be in plain view of the street? I don't see a gate or fence that comes off the driveway side of house - so why exit through a door - with a baby in tow - using a door that can be seen from the street. Wouldn't it be better to leave via a door that you could slither around the back/side of the home to the front/side and attempt to stay under the "shadow" of trees. Or at least make sure nobody is out walking, etc. People walk by my home all hours - and I am in the country!

There was a link upthread that gave the boys names & ages. 8 y/o is dad's, 6 y/o is mom's.

I will say one thing, if later it is learned that this mother is involved my world as I know it will explode for this mother has convinced me 100% of non involvement!

According to grandparent interview 1 dad's...1 mom's

--one from each---they have different last names.

TODAY's Peter Alexander asked Irwin’s parents, Rick and Melanie, whether their son or future daughter-in-law had anything to do with the baby’s abduction.

“Absolutely not,’’ Melanie told NBC News. “They are kind, loving, wonderful parents, and that baby is everything to them.’’

Lisa Irwin is the youngest of three children who live in the home. Irwin and Bradley are engaged to be married, and also have two children, 8-year-old B. Irwin and 6-year-old M. Bradley, from previous relationships.

hrm thinking out loud. If two people were involved one could have parked away from the house, perp goes out the door and car comes down the street and perp with child jumps in and takes off.

I need a little clarification, did they say the door was left unlocked or they assume the door was unlocked. Did DI intentionally not lock the door? Or is she uncertain as to whether or not it was locked?

All that has been said is that JI came in thru the unlocked front door.

I think that most mommies lock the doors at nite..maybe not all ..but most. My guess would be that she locked the front door before going to bed.

However that has not been stated yet. In #2 of our thread it lists what Jeremy said today in interview.

I don't think there is a definite answer, but I think it's one of each. I *think* there is a direct quote from a family member, and the father was involved in a custody dispute at one point which indicates he has a child. Not sure that's a huge help, but figured I would post it any way.

Edit- Dang, I'm slow tonight. What everybody else said.

I'd be shocked as well. I've got myself about 95% convinced that the family is not involved.

The fact that Irwin just started a job on the night that this happens is what I keep thinking about. I wonder if this information was known by anyone they knew or encountered/are newly acquainted with? I would think if someone knew this they would feel more confident that they could abduct the child or burglarize the home without hubby there. The cell phones being reprogrammed that night and then taken is interesting too. I hope that list will turn a light on and maybe could give them a clue as to who did this.

Praying Lisa is found and that whoever was involved will be found also.

That's why I keep asking if Mom had been home all evening. If Mom had been out and returned home there is a very slight possibility that someone could have slipped into the home while she was out. Waited until everyone was asleep, taken Lisa and left. Who would really notice someone coming out of a house?

I thought both boys are hers from a previous relationship and Lisa is the baby they have together.

That's what I thought too. Then, last thread....

Looking for MSM source right now, can't find it.

I think that is something worth investigating, imo. Is that why the door was left unlocked?

This case does have an outward appearance of an X taking the child. "You took my child from me now I'll take yours from you" type deal

I wondered that, too. Especially if it was a planned abduction, they could have waited until she went to pick up the boys at school and ducked into the garage when she was leaving the driveway. Chances are she has a remote, backed out, hit the clicker & pulled out of the driveway. Perp comes from under the deck, behind a tree, behind the garage and runs into the garage. A lot of people don't lock the door between garage and house. There could be a dog door from garage to house. Perp could have hidden in the house until bedtime.

Talk about confusing....

This is from the same article-

http://www.kctv5.com/story/15611288/authorities-intensify-search-for-missing-baby

Irwin said he came home from his overnight shift around 4 a.m. Tuesday. He noticed a first-floor window open in the front of the house. After checking on his sons, 6 and 8, he went to the bedroom of his daughter, Lisa, and noticed her missing. Bradley said she ran through the house screaming for her daughter but there was no answer

later in the article-

Authorities said the suspect entered through a bedroom window and snatched the baby from her bed as she was sleeping.

It makes a lot more sense to me the way the Dad explained it.

You know it is possible that he or she turned the lights on but because of their panic state of mind they are mistaken or don't recall turning them on but they did.
