Some of the posts here make me sad. I know alot of parents are guilty of harming their own children, but I don't think these are.

If Lisa had been sick then maybe mom had lost alot of sleep the last few days before this happened and not hearing the baby she slept soundly this night. Possibly the 5 yr old turned on the lights before he climbed in bed with mom. What 5 yr old would offer up a confession that they turned on the lights, half asleep in the midst of the chaos that had to be going on. He may have thought he would get in trouble if he did remember that they turned them on. and he may think since it was being talked about that he is at fault for leaving the lights on.

If my baby was gone and I ran to get one of the phones and ALL of them were gone, my first thought would be I can't call 911. I would then go to neighbors to call or have them call. I could see them saying that they think the phones were taken to prevent them from calling.

If they lived there for some time they may be very comfortable, it looks like a nice neighborhood and sounds like a place where people knew their neighbors. If it is not a big crime area I can see where they may have had a false sense of security.

Talk about confusing....

This is from the same article-

http://www.kctv5.com/story/15611288/authorities-intensify-search-for-missing-baby

Irwin said he came home from his overnight shift around 4 a.m. Tuesday. He noticed a first-floor window open in the front of the house. After checking on his sons, 6 and 8, he went to the bedroom of his daughter, Lisa, and noticed her missing. Bradley said she ran through the house screaming for her daughter but there was no answer

later in the article-

Authorities said the suspect entered through a bedroom window and snatched the baby from her bed as she was sleeping.

It makes a lot more sense to me the way the Dad explained it.

How did check on his sons? WAsn't one sleeping with the mom? This doesn't make sense!

I pretty much cleared the mom in my own opinion father is still out on me.

Without elaborating, he looks blindsided to me.

I can't help but wonder if that might NOT be totally true and just hoping the responsible party gets a bit more secure???

If they don't know anything then why are they searching the same place again?

have they checked the house he supposedly was going into to see if there is a baby at that house? This to me seems like the closest and best lead they have. No mentionof a description and no mention of them showing a lot of interest on that street????

Well, LE said basically if we thought of it, they have checked it, meaning the public I presume...so I would hope so.

Or a revenge thing. You took my child so I will take yours. But that doesn't explain why LE is continuing to look at the home and surrounding area so closely.

I agree, it doesn't seem to explain it from our vantage point with the information we have.

Another PC? This is incredible. Hopefully it's new positive developments. I have a sick feeling they're going to say they're suspending the searches until they get a credible lead. :sigh:

maybe the PC is because damage control from parents talking about cell phones missing. Or maybe they want the perp to feel like LE is totally lost and therefor be comfortable in taking the child outside, this would generate a tip.

Well crap who knows! All I know is this baby needs to be found YESTERDAY!

At the least,to me it is unusual to have 9 people you would actually name to police as possible suspects in a crime of this nature, JMO.

That link doesn't work for me. It says content not available.

I agree. That's a heck of a lot of people who want harm done to your family. Why?

Is this new information? I had no idea about a "misunderstanding". Oh dear.

Try this: http://video.foxnews.com/

Capt. Young says the parents thought there was a new development when the woods were being searched again and showed disappointment when they were told it was only to search the same area more closely.

Well I see that while I was eating too much curry, nothing has happened except that a new presser has been announced?

I'm hoping that, as I said earlier in another thread, that LE will publicly ask people to think of people they know who might have been recently talking adoption, and have suddenly shown up with a baby very quickly. Or someone who suddenly has a child, and says perhaps that they're caring for a relative or friend's baby for a while. Someone has this child, that someone will HAVE to come in contact with others they know soon, and they will have to have a story as to why they have a new 10 month old in their care. I keep thinking back to baby Ramy out in Cali, who was taken from her bassinet at night while the family slept (by the grandmother, of all people, who arrived at, and left the house, in a TAXI, of all things). And all it took was two guys who knew Grandma, had heard her talking of having a baby, and knew something didn't add up, and called it in.

The public needs to have it put in their minds to think of people they know who suddenly have a 10 month old in their care, with a story of an adoption or helping out a friend, or something, and the situation just doesn't seem right. Most people wouldn't think twice if say, a friend said "oh, I'm going to be taking care of my cousin's baby while she gets back on her feet" or whatever; but hearing such a story announced in connection with a missing child, it might just all click into place.

I hope, anyway. :praying:

I had wondered if one or both boys had left the lights on.And they may well have. I don't think either LE or MSM has said anything about this. MOO

But IMO the lights are very important IF an intruder left them on. Left the lights on and a front window open ? When I read about the lights it niggled at me for hours. I knew it was somehow familiar, and I was sure I had read that same thing somewhere before. I'm about 80 % sure that the lights were all on in the house where Shasta Groene's family was found... and I went and looked, but could not confirm it anyplace. The door was left open though.

I'm getting an awful feeling that this wasn't someone who knew the family at all. It was maybe someone who had seen that beautiful child, and just felt like taking her. MOO

The lights being left on speaks to someone arrogant and needing total control. I believe that if mom or the two other kids had woken up and gotten up, he likely would have killed them MOO
Maybe it wasn't "personal " at all, maybe he just wanted this child... All JMO
