Connection to Texas may be an ex of JL's ..... just sayin. If a lawyer from Texas came into town I would be interested to know if the initials would be T.D.B.

My take is that this is an internal sort of family thing and maybe they want to settle this outside of LE being involved.

Just MOO.

It's a little late for that.I thought he'd lived in that house for that last 8 yrs?

I saw this photo before I saw the interview and whole heartedly agree with your statement, based on this photo, but I couldn't put a finger on it.

I don't think mom has a clue what has happened but I think JI does have a good idea. All moo of course.

I can only think of five cases where there was a ransom note:

The Lindbergh Baby (ransom paid but Charles was found dead)
Leopold and Loeb (Bobby's body was found before ransom was paid)
JonBenet Ramsey (JonBenet was found dead in the basement; depending on your thoery, the RN was written by the parent or an intruder)
Zahra Baker (RN was written by stepmom (and dad?) who killed Zahra)
George Weyerhaeuser: Ransom was paid and George was released

The Bobby Greenlease case, in Kansas City in 1953. One of the very last of the cases where wealthy parents were victimized and ransom was paid. Unfortunately, Bobby Greenlease was killed by his captors.

I just think these parents are POed at the LE JMO

That might be it. I think LE was lying or misleading today about what happened at that heated discussion.

I don't have children...can anyone with kids think of a valid reason to stop working with police to find yours? Even if they suspect you? I would guess LE is watching any calls they are taking or making, so it is unlikely a threat of any kind got through to the parents, IMO...

Only way I'd stop is if they said they would kill my child if I did not stop cooperating with police.

I agree and have gotten a weird vibe from dad all along. Nothing in a sinister way but that he is just a little "off."

No. Unless there was something I was hiding that I did not want LE to know.

There would be absolutely no reason to stop working with police. I have three kids and I swear if one of them went missing, I'd be sitting on LE's doorstep.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is maybe the parents are frustrated to continually see them searching the woods around the house when they think someone has her and has taken her farther away. Maybe they think LE is wasting valuable time and that's why they drove off in a huff. They are in a position of having to entrust Baby Lisa's life to LE and if they think the focus is off and time is being wasted maybe they were furious and some argument with LE followed causing them to disengage from LE?

I wonder at what point in the timeline it was revealed that the front door was open and lights were one and window was open. Was this before or after police determined that the office window wasn't the entry point?

I wonder at what point the police were informed the 3 cell phones were taken?

I wonder how they can name a dozen people they know that might want to take or hurt their child, but don't want to cooperate with the police? If you have that many enemies, I think the police should probably be your best friends.

I think I need to step away for a while, I'm so upset. I was really hoping Lisa was coming home alive.

If LE told me they have to convince the perp that the family stopped all contact with police there is a chance maybe the perp will contact them. We have no other leads and this is a long shot. Then I would agree.

The eyes remind me a little of Terri Horman in that first interview.

Yes, one of my friends is in KC on business right now, staying in a hotel out by the airport and making his rounds and talking to people. He emailed me before the presser tonight, "Focus on dad." Which of course means nothing, but the vibes are in the KC air, evidently.

Cluciano, if one of my grandkids was missing, LE would be welcome to torture me if they thought it would help.

What was interesting to me was the way it was stated earlier about the two other children...seems like the LE said

The other two children will remain out of sight.

I thought that was strange wording.

I wonder if LE was hoping that the other two children would start to talk to them ? I wonder if the two kids did just that ? MOO

And that could be a very valid response to their anger and frustration.

I still don't understand how an LE who seems to be saying continuously they have nothing (remember the parents said they gave 9 names at least) and perhaps is blaming you is going to engender trust they will find your baby or even want to look elsewhere...from the parents pov. I will be interested to see if they talk in the media as well.
