I don't see how or Why, LE would just now, after standing up for the parents,

start using the "they aren't cooperating" and "You failed the Poly (LDT)"...

Maybe there is more LE has that we don't know, from all of there searching and interviews...

  • #142
All they had to do was be up front and honest with LE about that and you I'm sure LE would have understood and given them some space. Look I was the first person backing these parents but not now. This case is stinking really bad now. I won't be fooled again. Anything can be explained away but when one has to explain away everything. Houston we have a problem.

I just won't post anymore.

We don't know that the parents haven't been up front and honest with LE. It's one thing to state something as a theory, or opinion. It's quite another to state it as a fact when it is still unproven.

As far as picking apart what people say, I would probably look totally guilty or completely stupid during an interview. I'm more of a thinker than a talker and sometimes have a hard time phrasing my words how I want/should. Give me some time and I can vocalize thoughts.

Carrie, that is actually the best way. My father was a police chief for years and did media interviews always. He has been retired for about 18 years now and I can tell you his personality is the same. If you talk about ANYTHING ...even a football game, etc. He thinks his entire sentence before he opens his mouth and the words come out. Everytime. My youngest son is exactly the same way. Always has been. A serious child even as a baby. Observant. Watching. Straight A honor roll...and if you ask him a question? Even if "Did you get your work schedule yet?" He will have a pause before the words come out. He thinks his entire sentence before he opens his mouth. He wants to be an FBI Agent. Now myself and my other son? We do both simultaneously. We think and words spill...so it can come out as somewhat "stuttering" which is why I hate, and let me reiterate...hate doing media interviews! LOL Fact is a film crew spent the entire day in my home to interview me for an A&E Special to be out in late November on the Long Island Serial killings along with one of the mom's on whose case my org worked with. I cannot tell you how many "CUTS" we had. It is a real talent and skill to be able to do media interviews. I prefer behind the scenes. lol

The perp taking the three cells phones bothers me - unless the cell phones were in Lisa's room, he/she had to walk through the house to find them --- where do you keep your cell phones??????????

IMO, the cops are thinking the parents are involved - why else would they tell the mother she flunked the LDT....... If they definitely thought they were not involved, they wouldn't do such a thing. IMO. Maybe they're just fishing, but I don't think so. Those guys aren't stupid (well most of them aren't).

I forget who asked, but yes. Unfortunately Baby Lisa's case could go either way. None of us know for sure. I know there are inconsistencies in the parents interview yesterday in "what happened when dad came home" and that is eyebrow raising, however, it could also be slips and errors due to lack of sleep, nervousness with media and spotlights, etc. All we can do is pray someone did come in and take Baby Lisa as their own and that they will be caught and Baby Lisa will be brought home to her family.

All lights were on in house. Maybe it was left that way when mom went to bed. Doubtful kidnappers would do that. Cell phones were on kitchen counter. Two working one was broke.

If my baby had been stolen I'd be a quivering suicidal mess - I'd be incoherent - raging - fainting - running - blaming everyone throwing up and most probably medicated. I think the cops might need to cut them some slack.

I never take phones to bed? We have regular phone in bedroom...but cell phones are all over the house at night on charge. What I do find odd is that dad went to work at that kind of shift with no cell phone? He couldn't have had one with him because when mom told him to call 911 ...he said "Where are all the phones?"...just odd he didn't have his own in his pocket...unless of course they had a fourth phone that was his and always kept in his car and not carried into house. Perhaps he ran to his car and that is where he called 911?

This is a good point. My husband has a personal cell phone that he leaves in his truck all the time. He charges it in the truck too. The only person he calls on it is me, when he is on the way home, as we have a plan where it is no charge to call each other mobile to mobile. All the other times, he is carrying his work cell which he has on him all the time. It is a different company, so it costs money to have him call me from that phone, which is why his personal phone stays in his truck. He isn't a big cell phone user anyway, doesn't text, etc. So, for him, this works. He only carrys a work phone because he has to. My teen son and I, on the other hand, have our phones on us all the time, and sleep with them next to the beds (where they charge). We also text all the time, get on the internet, etc. We have "smart" phones, and my husband has one of the most basic phones made! LOL So, it is possible that the husband in this case just keeps his phone in his vehicle all the time.

There is a reason that LE does'nt have any good info or suspects. They start w/ the initial report and have to work w/ that info. Now if all the info they are given like, lets say the window being point of entry, they dust a check it out,it did'nt pan out so then they take the next step and that started the lights on, door unlocked talk. They look into that and are still at square 1 which is the last person to see her, mom. No one's gonna kidnap for ransom this family.
I know there are corrupt LE, there are wrong LE and that LE will say anything to try and get more info, but I truely look at what they are investigating and in this case the parents and their home( and that wooded area) are what is being focused on.
imo

I do not care about the clothes she was wearing or Lisa"s size. Or about the LD, or even that the parents have'nt slept. gohome & sleep, tell LE that you'll be back asap. Grab a chair, pass out right on the floor, whatever. This is not about their nessecities, it's about this baby that cannot take care of herself, that if left on the ground could not feed herself or fend off attack!!

I watched them on good morning america. They came off as totally genuine to me. My heart ached for the mother. I could be wrong though! wouldnt be the first time. Sounds to like police are looking at the mother! moo

I am confused about this supposed media deal. Plenty of parents of missing children have appeared on the Today Show, and have done other interviews as well. Does this supposed media deal mean that they can only talk to the Today Show? Or they have to talk to the Today Show first before doing other interviews?

It doesn't make sense to me to sign a media deal in the very beginning of a case to do some 5-minute interview.

I may have missed this along the way in these fast moving threads - do we have any MSM reports when the last independent sighting of Lisa was? Meaning the last date and time anyone saw Pumpkin Pie outside of the immediate family?

As a mom, I have a few questions/concerns. May be nothing but still.
1. if a 10mo old is sick/coughy/croupy, i'd be checking on her frequently. OR she would be in the room with me.
2. at that age, again being sick and a stay at home mom, aren't most babies put in more comfy 'jammies' for sleeping, expecially when sick. Not short and matching shirt?
3. With phones these days (and not saying that had updated ones) but names/addresses switch over when you get a new phone. You don't manually enter them any longer. So if one was broken, Dad left for his 1st night at a job, without a phone, and a sick baby at home.
4. why wouldn't he assume the baby was in with mom if the son was and it didin't alert him that son wasn't it bed, or was it 'overlooked'?
5. door unlocked AND window open. Isn't it getting quite cool up there (sorry, i'm in FL) that at night you'd feel the 'coolness' of a window being open?

JMO.

Curiousity might have killed the cat, but i want proof.

I deleted the link I posted because it was the video from yesterday's interview on Today.

It was interesting. A floor plan of the home is shown and it shows the path from the window to Lisa's room and the path from the front door to Lisa's room. It is more of a straight shot to Lisa's room from the front door. From either entry point the first BR one would reach is the boys room, then Lisa's room the the parents room. This is the logical reason why the dad checked the boy's room first as it is the first room he would arrive at.

I'll try and link the video again once Today posts it to their site.
