The father has a very flat affect. No emotion. I keep thinking he is in shock. Does he know something we don't know?

seems to me like the mother won't let the dad talk... forget which video - he was addressing the kidnapper... she totally cut him off...

Many are talking of his shift eyes, I am wondering if the Dad himself is realizing that it is quite possible that his wife killed their child? Is that look we are seeing anger/shock???

No SIMS card? Downloading how? For years I have either had a SIMS card or my provider downloads to my phone for me. They must not have been smart phones....which again, brings me to my question...downloading how?

:seeya: That's true... my provider handles that for me as well. Very hinky, this business of leaving the phones out on the counter.

Only someone that knew them and that house. :waitasec:

Exactly. The fact that that had to have been known to the abductor takes the "random" out of it for me. MOO.

If my kids were still babies and I noticed one missing Id still call for her no matter what

This child is too old for an infant kidnapping; in fact, it's kind of an in-between age.

Too old to be someone's "birth" - and too young to be the target of a pedophile.

As much as it pains me to say this......babies are attractive to some pedophiles. It's just not that unusual. There was even a new father caught raping his baby in the hospital just hours after her birth.

There is no limit to the horror perpetrated on children in this world, and no child is too young to be a victim.

When the parents noticed that Lisa was missing, did they wake up the brothers and ask them if they had heard or seen anything?

Never heard this don't know who woke them...but, the two boys were outside with mom when LE came... Must have been around 4 am ish ?

Was there an update just now or a statement from the parents? I missed the live feed.

Update. You didn't miss anything really.

Please! Do not agree with a Duke fan. Ever!

The word "Duke" is forbidden to be uttered in my house. My children know, it will result it removal of all their favorite toys and no movies for a WEEK!

shudder....!

We live in a somewhat divided household....Hubby is a tarheel....I'm a State fan. He told me when we got married that he could handle that....as long as I never pulled for Duke. LOL

I'd scream for my baby if she or he were missing. I think that's a natural reaction.

Yes, he also hangs his head quite a bit. She looks at him often, she grabs for his hand, he doesn't grab for hers. She almost seems afraid of him at times, like you said, its as if she needs reassurance.

I believe now, she may be covering for him. I have done a 360 degree turn around from this morning, and before this is over I may flip back to thinking it was all her.:innocent:

Also I'm big on body language and in a couple of the videos even though they were right beside each other she was leaning away from him and even had turned her body away from him just a tad bit but it was telling to me. Even as she was looking up at him for whatever reason, her shoulders and legs were facing away from him.

I asked here after watching one of the video's did he ever establish eye contact with anyone?

If he is not the one directly responsible for the childs disappearance then maybe he's going along with LE, but I don't see that.

I wish we knew more about them.

Was there an update just now or a statement from the parents? I missed the live feed.

supposedly they will be on Jude JP on saturday (most likely were at the hotel to tape it)

they are not working with their local media any more ((((have no clue why they would do that!)))) and are only working with national media

What strikes me as odd --- he went screaming through the house for his 10-month old daughter? Why didn't he check to see if she were in the bedroom with his wife since she was sick??? Since when would a 10-month old come running going "Here I am, Dad" when you call her like that? I could see calling to your wife -- but to the baby???

I would do that, calling for my kids because the baby might fuss or make a noise back and who knows maybe she was an early talker and could say Mama or Dada?

Every time I get sucked into one of these cases, I swear it won't happen again, and then I hear about some beautiful child being missing, and I get sucked in all over again. I am praying for this little girl. My brain starts working on the mystery, but my heart is always breaking....

Any mention of foot prints around the house or window?

Oh yes, I know first hand....have had a missing child for almost 4 days. It was horrible. I spent every minute in my car driving....or on the phone helping LE track him down. I was medicated and had no sleep.

And of course, not everyone responds the same way to tragic, life-altering events. But there is something here in the dad....don't know what it is. Maybe the weight of the world....

I just "feel" like he knows something on mom and he is in quite the spot....but heck, I could be totally wrong.

I'm so happy that your case turned out well. I bet that was the worst experience of your life!

The article says the mom was the one screaming her name. I don't find that unusual at all. I'd probably check everywhere and anywhere. A 10 month old can crawl pretty fast and hide in the strangest places.

I'd like too know how long before they found her missing was the 911 call made? It was probably posted but can't remember off the top of my head. I'll try to find it.

Have they ever established when someone outside of mom or dad saw Lisa?

It's hard to think the boys knew or were involved b/c how do you keep them from talking besides threats? Have the boys been w/the parents? If you lose a child, how do you let your other children out of your sight? I can't imagine having them more than 5 ft away from me.

Lisa's grandfather (mom's dad) spoke with KCTV5 and he said that they were at his house on Sunday afternoon for a birthday party. He said Baby Lisa was a bit fussy but still very happy. Can't find the link to the video....not too good at that....maybe someone better can find the video...it was on the 5 o'clock news.

Interesting. I'd just be curious as to how many have active service. I used to work for a phone company and have at least 5 right now. Only 1 is activated. I need to get rid of em, but recycling is an issue. I can't just throw em in the trash.

Mel
OT. but they can't they be refurbished and sent to soldiers overseas? If interested check , maybe, at a post office. We have donated a few extras via some envelopes we received in the mail with advertisements.

this statement still wonders me:
"scrambled around to find a phone to call 911".........????....which one did they find and use? .......maybe this has been answered backthread...I'm reading backward now.....
