If you go to the National Center of Missing Children's website, you will see that there are far too many missing children for the FBI to go to every one of them. Children go missing every day. This is a clue to me that there is something else up with LE for them to be there.

I understand that. But a great many of them are older, or it's suspected to be a parent, etc. This is an apparent infant abduction from her home. I think that probably narrows the scope enough to warrant help from the FBI.

I guess you could be right, but IMO, having the FBI on the case isn't suspicious.

From the video linked below @ about 4:00:

Debbie B's Aunt confirmed to the reporter that mother failed a LDT yesterday. She says couple has not hired lawyer.

LE disputes that. Police say they can no longer question Debbie B because she has a lawyer.

A relative acting as spokesperson for the couple says Jeremy I spoke to police on a couple of occasions today, but police claim that's also not true.

This is an obvious lie from the police. There's nothing to say they can't question someone because they have a lawyer. They can question them as much as they like, they just have to do it with the lawyer present.

On the big baby thing....

My oldest technically didn't exist! She was off the charts tall and heavy. She is now almost 6ft tall. Younger one not quite as much but still top of the charts. They were both sitting unassisted at 4 months and walking at 9 months! Got teeth late though. One was walking before the teeth erupted! Funny sight to be had - here's Gumby comming at ya!

What I'm curious about is why the FBI is there? There must be a reason that I'm missing or have missed. I know that they don't come in on every kidnapping. That makes me believe that there MUST be something more (evidence) that is the reason they are there.

I just checked, and Lisa is not listed on the FBI page for kidnappings/abductions. I did a search to be sure she's not on there.

"sources close to LE" could be :

An officer's spouse/ girlfriend/boyfriend who overhears a phone call.

A civillian employee of the police dept. ( secretary, dispatcher, file clerk)

A retired officer who still hangs out with current officers.

Any employee of the DA office who might overhear or see paperwork.

:twocents:

Could well be. And, with the exception of a spouse/bf/gf, all of the above should know better than to leak polygraph results to the media.

But does she have a lawyer? Does anyone know?

Oh that is a good point. She said she didn't lock the door? Do they always leave the door unlocked? Don't they live in a city?

I lock everything up very tight when I'm alone at night. Interesting observation, Katydid,.

The last post in the last thread has a news article stating that it was the first time Mom had ever left the door unlocked.

And now the scene is contaminated:banghead:
If I were Jeremy & Deb I would be demanding that the bed and bedding be bagged and tested immediately! I just simply cannot believe it wasn't done already.

I have no link for this....I might be able to find one, but tonight I'm cross-eyed and desperately need a wine break lol. When LE searched the house the morning/afternoon after Lisa was reported missing, I saw them carrying out clear plastic bags with pink and brown bedding-looking items. IMO a crib liner that was kind of puffy like a comforter etc.

Again, I swear I will look for the link tomorrow, but I've had a long day of computer work and I"m pooped lol.

Not if the lawyer says, That's it we're outta here.My client will NOT be answering anymore questions.

I can't find anything about the Fox news exclusive, and isn't Nightline on ABC?

It was much earlier today...possibly before noon when a local reporter said that the family would not even look at them or talk to them. Then, it was reported (sorry not sure which thread) that family had signed with one national news agency. Then, the rest of the day it was all over Fox News and Judge Jeanine Pierro (who is a fox news consultant) was reporting from in front of the house.

That's about the best I can do for you...:)

This thought just came to me, only b/c of the "family pictures" of Lisa & the boys w/the Grandparents, but I'm assuming Grandpa & Grandma know the house quite well, know their routine, know dad went to work that day. They could have kidnapped Lisa, thinking the parents would get blamed and they'd get the kids.

Ah! Maybe what we're looking at is a mattress cover type of thing. I'd feel a lot better if this is the case!

Kimster a lot of hinky stuff that each one could be explained but putting them all together is what makes that hinky off the chart for me.

Notice the statements made, they go from (Husband) "They took the phones so we couldn't call LE" (ME) how does he know THEY?

Mother said we, then I then we, very mixed. On the surface all looks innocent can be explained as stress but again, putting it all in the bigger picture each one fits to start to complete the puzzle.

For me anyway. It seems there are very mixed views on this case. I was the first one who said this Mother is innocent on day one. Day two she is innocent, day 3 she is innocent, day 4, my gosh this mother is involved. MOO
I can see what you mean, however if Jeremy used He or Her instead of They, some might say how did he know it was a man or a women? Myself, I don't put much into him using the word they. MOO.

I don't know, but in her shoes - and if I was innocent - I would get one pronto.

It sure does. I watched it several times, stopping the video to look at the mattress placement. The bedskirt rides up on one end and shows that the mattress is not in the lowest position. That would be level with the bottom of the slats on the end and side. A thirty inch child is almost as high as a kitchen counter. I now think it is possible that Lisa woke up and went over the side. The rest doesn't make sense.

I haven't caught up with the thread yet, but I do think it's possible Lisa fell or climbed out of her crib. When my daughter was about her age, she was tall for her age but thin. I was shocked when I discovered her climbing out of her crib. My son had never done that, even when he was older. Just saying, this could be a scenario which might make some sense to me. Except, I still can't figure out why you wouldn't call 911 for help if it was an accident.

I agree, and I never said it was suspicious. I just said that I thought that the police must know more than they are reporting and that it made me think that because the FBI was there so quickly.

I'm right here with you on both counts.

Is the FBI and other agencies involved? The more agencies that are working together on a case like this, the more I would be leaning toward LE making sure their I's are dotted and there T's are crossed before publicly announcing the mom is a person of interest.

Kinda behind here (dang real life!) but if it hasnt been answered yet, yes, FBI is here. Have been from day 1 I believe. If not, definitely day 2. LOTS of them!

The comforter appears to be hanging over the back of the crib in the picture.

Maybe it was. They could have replaced the bedding after LE left with the original stuff. Impossible to know at this point but they took 2 large bags away.

There is probably too much being made of this issue. LE took a number of items out when cameras were present, they probably took more items out the first morning before media was encamped. The scene has been released by LE and its likely that a neighbor, friend, church member etc has probably volunteered to clean up the finger print dust and mess left after LE finished with the house. I used to lift items such as those up off of the floor to vacuum under the crib, etc. Likewise it is possible someone else remade the bed so that it would not be so heartbreaking for the family to re-enter the home. The bedding could be borrowed, donated or even new.....I would willingly do that for a friend or neighbor in hopes that the child would be coming home to a clean room ready and waiting for her. If LE left the bed taken apart as is quite likely, someone else could have put it back at the wrong height or simply at the easiest level to reach for that person.
