I'm thinking either the child's clothes or the missing phones were in that dumpster.

Dumpster fire to divert attention?

  • #283
Who sets a dumpster on fire? I mean, seriously..what on earth would the motive of that be unless there was something in there they they didn't want LE to find.

unsupervised teenagers who are bored and looking for mischief and live in the area comes to mind as an idea.

How close is the dumpster fire to Lisa's home?

  • #285
Yes, and the landfill has been searched three times with nothing found.

Maybe this was staged? I like that theory because the baby would still be alive, perhaps sold.

Does anyone know if that dumpster fire had been burning a while when they discovered it? Maybe stuff was destroyed by the time they put the fire out. I'm confused about the landfill search. If the perp did set the dumpster on fire because there was something incriminating inside the dumpster, then why would they find anything in the landfill?

Oh my goodness! You are a lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read a billion parenting magazines, blogs, websites, etc. and I've never heard of these. I'm seriously going to order one today. You've just saved me from having a ton of sleepless nights worrying about my daughter in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :seeya:

So happy to help....can't believe I didn't design one of these and make millions!!!! Oh well, bless the person that did, and good luck keeping the babe safe!!!

At the risk of making me sound like a totally crappy parent..

My daughter is a daredevil, and no matter how low we put her crib mattress, she STILL jumps/falls/flips out of her crib (to the point where we've had to put like a giant stack of pillows under her crib so she'd have a "soft landing"). This is rare, but we spoke to our pediatrician about it anyways and he said obviously we need to work on a solution for it BUT the chances of her ever having a serious injury from it are highly unlikely.
Well I am in your club. When one of my boys was 8 mos he could get over the railings and out he would go. Our only option at the time was to turn the crib upside down over him because we would find him out of the crib at all times of day or night. We had to opt for caging him over letting him run wild during the night LOL. But there was no other way to contain him. I think you can just put a netting over the top now. But this was 24 years ago.

One thing to keep in mind. Local TV stations will tend to side with LE and demand less from them because of the threat of losing inside sources and tips.

What do you mean when you say they would "side with LE"? As far as believing that the parents are not cooperating? The TV stations would go by what the official word is, and the official word comes from officials (the police). That official word is not always right, either.

TV stations don't always side with law enforcement. Reporters often do stories about police inaction, corruption, unfair treatment, etc. Just sayin'.

They need to give Deborah a sedative. I just watched the latest interview snippet and she loses it, and IMO, right on cue now.

I remember Samantha Runion's mother - I remember her strength and focus when Samantha went missing. I know not everyone reacts the same to this type of tragedy, but at some point it becomes about finding the child and not how it affects you.

They are different people. You can't judge based on that. Some people can handle stress better than others. Ed Smart briefly ended up in the hospital due to his body reaching it's breaking point. Some parents have to be sedated. Everyone handles things differently.

I don't want to be Miss Depressing, but when a baby goes missing a local landfill would be an obvious place to search. I won't spell out why.

New here, just throwing this out there for comment by those more experienced than me with this, but I'm curious if anyone knows if the parents have been having any relationship problems or arguments lately.

Maybe, since they apparently aren't married and Debbie moved to his house a couple years ago, there has been a strain on the relationship and Lisa's abduction could be a ploy to pull the father closer to Debbie? Just wondering if that makes sense.

I mentioned this scenario because the picture of them in the Daily Mail article shows Debbie laying her head on Jeremy's chest and he is standing there with his hands in his pockets NOT comforting her? Does this make sense to you?

I have thought this for at least a moment too because I thought I have heard her say that Lisa is what keeps them together.

There are other pictures where he does have his arms around her though.

just read a news headline that a teen was being questioned and dna samples were taken and that this teen was at the house that day and knew the access code to the garage.. but no one is discussing it here?

http://news.yahoo.com/missing-baby-lisa-teen-questioned-police-look-california-123229533.html

Whether the teen knew the access code or not you would hear the garage door being opened (assuming this is the garage code they are talking about). Especially at that time of night. Their garage is directly below what appears to be the bedroom. If she slept through that, I envy her! My family gives me a hard time because they say I wake up to a mouse farting!

IMO, Steve Young would only consider the parents confessing and telling where Lisa is located as cooperating. Also IMO, he is playing the semantics game to the hilt.

Here is a review article of the crib tent things that I have seen used. I asked around about whether these existed when my oldest one (27 now) successfully climbed out of his crib at around 8 mo old....didn't even fall!! People looked at me like I was crazy to ask....guess I should have invented one cause there seems to be MANY on the market now!

http://family.go.com/blog/amyh07/product-review--crib-tents--baby-jail--222085/

Oh lord, I feel like the worst parent in the world now. When my now 20 year old was one she was able to escape from her crib. It worried me because she would roam around the house early in the morning and get into things. Never woke me up. I remember lowering and lowering the mattress until it was on the floor and she still got out so I was trying to find a way to put something over the top so she couldn't get out. My friend saw it and said the same thing as the ad, it looked like a baby jail. And it didn't help anyway. Took her seconds to figure out how to get out.

I thought it was an older female also.

Maybe those are just the photos that were released. There could be more with other female family members that include other children that they don't want released. Maybe those were the best photos of the baby.....

It could be any number of things, but I just don't see what's suspicious about it.

Nooooo EllaMae, I didn't think it suspicious at all when I saw the pics. I truly thought it was a woman holding baby Lisa and assumed it was her grammy. Other sleuths mentioned that all the pics of Pumpkin Pie were with men and confirmed it was G'paw Netz in those pics holding Lisa. I meant no disrespect....I really thought it was a g'maw or aunt holding Lisa.

I feel so foolish:blushing:

I'm the opposite. Once I'm asleep even a pneumatic drill outside the window doesn't wake me.
