And if you trespass private property and get arrested, say one hour into your search, that's going to help...in what way?
If you are not breaking and or entering, walking on someones property is not trespassing unless it is posted or you have been told to stay off.

You may be being facetious, but dumpsters fires are common and the pounds are filled with stray cats and kittens - maybe that's why not a lot of attention has been given to either.

I think the landfill searches are significant - the police obviously have a reason to be searching there more than once. I'm curious about the Starbucks construction site. They usually have roll-offs. Had this been picked up that morning? I know a lot of waste companies pick up roll-offs and service dumpsters in the middle of the night.

Nope not being facetious. They said they found the stray kitten they did not go to the pound or Petsmart to get it. And I know as in my neighborhood and we have lots of feral cats, there is usually more than one kitten in a liter and the mother usually takes very good care of them. You don't see them running around. That is what I meant about it being rare. A dumpster fire would be much more common where I live. That is all I meant to say. Maybe didn't make it very clear. I think the landfill is significant too. What is a roll off? tia

You don't live in Texas, do you?

(sorry, couldn't resist)

..cousin states here flyers have been printed.

http://www.kansascity.com/2011/10/08/3194919/police-seeking-new-interview-with.html

Mike LeRette, Bradley’s cousin and a spokesman for the family, could not immediately be reached for comment on the interview request. Earlier Saturday, however, he told The Kansas City Star that family members had planned to scale back their media interviews for the time being and focus on generating tips for police.

LeRette said lawyers are now working with the family to set up a trust fund that would accept donations for a reward fund.

In addition to the trust fund, the family hopes to focus this weekend on getting flyers and photographs of Lisa into the hands of anyone who may have seen either her or her abductor.

He said up to 8,000 flyers a day have been printed since Tuesday. Some have gone to truck stops so drivers can pick them up for distribution far and wide.

I think the idea of a rest day is bizarre as all get out. There is no "rest" day for the parents of a missing child. Let me tell ya....every moment of every day you are pacing the floors, walking the sidewalks, calling someone on the phone, begging anyone who will listen to help you...anything you can do to find your child. I was almost mad with energy and exhaustion all at the same time. Over time, you feel yourself begin to detach...as if you are watching yourself from afar. This coping mechanism is natural and part of self-protection. Its surreal.

The anti-anxiety medication simply keeps you from being hysterical. I begged LE to camp out at my house...I asked to drive, call, search, plead...anything they could find for me to do, I wanted to do it. I retold every detail about my child that I could remember...every place we had been, every friend he had, every place he had spent the night, all of his teachers and classes and little hobbies. I pulled out all the pictures and awards and little hand prints....we took his room apart searching for any clue. There were no hours in the day...day and night all blended together.

Even now, years since the event, my heart races at the thought of those days. When hubby and I discuss it, we both get very animated with loud voices and tears and odd details that we still remember. If it gets on my mind, I still can't sleep....I have to get up and move around. Thank God for ambien.

Life is never the same again, even when your child is recovered. Even when they grow up...you still have residual challenges. There is the child and their issues....you and yours. And then your other children who are greatly effected. Every one is traumatized to some level. To this day, even now that the siblings are older, they call to check on us and each other throughout the day...between classes and jobs. When hubby and I are out, they call to check on us EVERY TIME they hear a siren. Our son who was missing has grown up and has somewhat removed himself from our lives even though we have sought every kind of help we can. We hear about him through a few contacts...but our whole relationship is complicated and painful.

Nothing is the same again...nothing.

Are they selling Tshirts??????????

Or are they giving out t-shirts for a donation that goes towards an reward? And in hopes the donor wears the t-shirt, thus getting the Lisa's face out in front of the public.

one of your quotes from the article was

Michael Lerette, a family spokesman for the parents of the missing infant, said police collected what could be forensic evidence in the case, but authorities have declined to comment on that claim.

so i guess LE and the family have talked today

kantoo,
I don't know if the family spokesman mean LE took the evidence today or another day. sorry.

imo

I've just had a brainwave about the kitten. Maybe Deborah made a bed up for it in her room and the kitten jumped onto the bed with them while they were sleeping. Cats tend to do that.

A roll-off is a dumpster, usually fairly large, that is contracted for temporary use during construction. Not the normal dumpsters that are emptied twice per week. These are normally filled to capacity and the waste company is called to take them off. JI was an electrician - at what point in the construction or remodeling would he come in. Beginning? Middle? End?

I keep imagining this playful kitten not sleeping the whole night, and maybe even the son being woke up by this new kitten in the bed. I just wonder why the new stray kitten was allowed to sleep in the parent's bed to begin with and if it means anything that it was mentioned as part to the story.

Lisa looks very well taken care of and clean in all the pics. She looks like a happy baby. Time is of the essence and the parents shouldn't consider having anymore rest days until this baby is found.

Thought... Maybe the son felt bad for the sick daughter... his sister and took the kitten in to sleep with her... and something went terrible wrong.. Just a thought...

I don't believe this has been confirmed unless you have a link, about speaking with the FBI. I believe someone in the family said he was going to do that, but we don't know if it happened as far as I know.

Why wouldn't they just say if that happened though? 6 and 8 are too young to be charged with anything, so its not like they would need to protect their son.
