My 2 year old Lab doesn't bark at people, either. She'll jump with happiness and kiss the heck out of you, though.

She's definitely a people person....not a watch dog lol.

Mom: Dog out back would bark if she heard a noise but didn't bark at all.

Ok, quick review:
1. baby monitor was on, Mom didn't hear a sound

2. dog always barks at noise but didn't bark at all.

Same lie of omission, imo. Neither the dog nor monitor alerted because there was nothing to alert to. What's next? Perhaps a silent singing canary?

Depends on the dog. I also have 3. One barks at everything, the other two only bark at other dogs. If a stranger comes to my house two act like the visitor is a long lost friend. I have to hold the other one back, she acts like she will attack. The dog was in the back. The open window was in the front. Where was the open door?

I have two dogs and two parrots. It sounds like a zoo in our house during the day if someone comes near the property as the parrots are squawking and the dogs are barking.

However, our dogs are very silent sleepers at night. We had someone come up to our patio door and smash it in one night and neither dog did a thing.

I think mom did something to the baby.

I don't think Dad is involved... I think mom rules the roost .....

I think Dad is in the same situation as Kaine Horman was with his wife... it will take Dad a bit to realize what is REALLY going on.... IMO

I'm pretty sure she said the dog would bark if it didn't know someone, possibly someone who was known? I'm still not convinced the parents are guilty.

The screen: was said that when he went into computer room to turn out light the window was open, screen was pushed out, but not completly and no one could have got thru the window like it was. I'm not 100% sure i got all this right, so feel free to correct me.

the "expert", I'm sorry, I don't know who the guy was, questioned the fact that the screen was bent because it was apparently placed back into the window after having been removed. He stated that it would be unusual for an intruder to put a screen back after taking it off. And my thought, with a baby in their arms no less. I hope this case breaks soon. It isn't making any sense.

My dog only barks when there's absolutely no hint of a threat in the house or yard.

I'm sorry but I have 4 Chihuahuas and they bark if a leaf blows in the yard. It's amazing. They can sense if someone is even thinking of coming over. They will start barking and 15 minutes later someone is at the door.
And how would an intruder know that the dog wouldn't bark?

If the intruder was not a stranger and had been in the home prior or was familiar at all with the family dog, either through visits to the home or being a regular person on the block or in the neighborhood.

:floorlaugh: Visiting my Dad in Oklahoma and his neighbors had chihuahuas. One got through the fence into Dad's yard and ran at me, it chomped down on my ankle. Luckily I had UGG boots on. My Dad nearly fell down laughing.

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with Baby Lisa going missing. Someone stole from my van two times in a three week period. But I can assure you, all three of my children are still here.

Who knows what's connected ? IMO anything out of the ordinary is interesting. Anything at all...MOO

It depends really. Our dogs bark at our downstairs neighbors til this day. They bark at employees who come by here often. They even bark at me or my hubby when we arrive home at times.

He said the screen was pushed part way in (as if pushed from the outside in).

There is one thought I had, when Jeremy said his car had been broken into a month or so ago, could he have a jealous, vengeful ex girlfriend?

Do we know how long mom and dad lived together before her pregnancy? I know it's none of our business but like that man who was on Judge Jeanine last said, "these things might give us a clue." (Regarding knowing more of their lives prior to baby Lisa being born.)

Don't forget, all the lights were on in the house.

Oh, and they gave a list to LE....people who divorced and people who were cheating.

UGH! Give me a break.

It starts to make sense to me now that we heard the dogs didn't bark. Cheaters are good at sneaking around.

I know :) Just saying that so many fingers are pointing....cheating spouses, people going through divorce, perhaps this teen that was over that day. Now we here that the dad's car was broken into a month ago.

Perhaps they are innocent as can be and each detail does help. I don't know. This whole sad case seems a bit off.

No, it was confirmed tonight by LE on Judge Jeanine's show: (no link yet)

Captain Young: re phone call at 2:38 from 1 of phones
can't discuss

i challenge anyone to think of anything we haven't done

Jeanne P: father's car broken into last month; he made a police report

I don't see that as a confirmation though. Just that he won't discuss the phones. A minute prior he downplayed that anything of importance was discovered on any of the phones.

Thanks for all the updates. Too bad she didn't ask them about the alleged report that the teen had the code to their garage. Also, who was in the house prior to the "abduction". Relatives, friends, acquaintances?

oh, sorry, I thought it came from him, I did not watch JJ, did she say this? I am going to watch the next airing of the show, hubby will be zonked out by then!
Sorry for any confusion.

No apologies needed

I dont know either (family movie night here and a sleepover with DD's friends to boot) I too am really hoping to catch the interview later.

Just trying to be ultra careful because there have been some misinterpretations caused by bad reporting, bad wording, etc. So I have been trying very hard to keep from considering things til I have seen the actual quote in print or hear it from the horse's mouth. :)

I do not believe that the dog wouldn't have barked. Maybe it wouldn't have attacked, but I think even a docile lab would bark to alert about an intruder in the middle of the night. I think it would be likely for the dog to bark even if it knew the intruder, if surprised in the middle of the night. JMO, being a dog person....

It might be tomorrow, but it might be the day after.
If the day after is for selling shirts & passing out fliers, the speedway will be empty on Monday.
There was a race today, and one tomorrow. As soon as the race ends, everyone packs up and leaves.
