Marc Allen Jones ‘supposedly’ ran into the woods after hearing on the scanner that the police were in route to the location on an unrelated call. He reportedly left with no shoes or shirt according to the first linked article.

Wonder if this story sounded fishy to the authorities that took the report from the witnesses. What witnesses? People at that same house or unrelated neighbors/bystanders? (My thoughts and notations)

The second linked article states that his brother was a defendant in a federal drug trial.

There appears to be many missing details surrounding Marc’s disappearance. (My thoughts and notations)

Marc is my Uncle. In the article about the Vernon County John Doe it stated that they believed it was a woman’s body because of the small stature. Marc was a smaller build and had longer hair
