Circumstances of Disappearance:
Webb was last seen leaving her residence in Bolivar, Missouri on February 16, 2001. She was going to visit her boyfriend who was living in the Strafford suburb of Springfield, but she has never been seen again. Her boyfriend, John David Smith, disappeared from Strafford the day before and has also never been seen again.
At the time of her disappearance, Webb was driving a black 1990 Ford Aerostar van. Her van was later found abandoned on March 11 at Battlefield mall. Her purse was located inside the vehicle. There was no sign of Webb or Smith.
In 2006, Richard Evans and his wife, Thenia, were charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the presumed deaths of Smith and Webb. Evans was accused of shooting the couple and dismembering their bodies, which were fed to pigs. What remained was burned and thrown into a nearby pond. A search of Evans's property turned up bone fragments and a spent shell casing, but the charges against him were later dropped due to a witness refusing to testify. Webb has never been recovered.
