Yes indeed!Fantastic news!
And just when you think you’ve heard/seen it all!
I’m still confused

Yes indeed!Fantastic news!
Not sure about that. They say the baby is safe but what about the mother? It seems to me that she is probably a victim in all this as well. She needed medical care after the birth at the very least but can you imagine the horror of having your newborn baby whisked away at the moment of birth by two men who then disappear?
In light of the termination of parental rights issue......
The mother is probably the partner of Steven, and the newborn is their child. They have probably been notified that they were to relinquish the newborn at birth and this is their way of making sure that doesn't happen.
..... MOO
ETA: SO glad she's been found safe. I still wouldn't be surprised if my scenario isn't the truth.
MO Amber Alert: Here's the story behind the missing baby in Lebanon
Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap said the case started Tuesday afternoon when a woman receiving care at a hospital in Lebanon told authorities her newborn baby was missing.
The original story, Millsap said, was that the woman gave birth on the side of the road in Lebanon and left her baby with some passers-by who stopped to help. Those passers-by were supposed to follow the woman to the hospital, she said, but they didn't show up.
Millsap said investigators were able to quickly determine that story wasn't true.
The real story, Millsap said, is that the woman gave birth in a camper in rural Laclede County and then was taken to the hospital by a relative because she was having complications.
The woman left her newborn baby with an associate named "Mike" with the understanding that Mike would bring the baby to the hospital, but Mike did not follow through.
Millsap said investigators learned that "Mike" and/or the baby's father, Steven Bohlinger, took the baby to one of Bohlinger's relatives in Laclede County, who then took the baby to a different relative in Webster County.
The relative in Webster County saw an Amber Alert that was issued for the child Tuesday afternoon and contacted law enforcement, who responded and took the baby to the hospital.
Millsap said he was told by paramedics the baby appeared to be healthy. He said the child will likely be taken into state custody after leaving the hospital.
Or it could be another child while she was pregnant with this one. We also don’t know if the woman in that court proceeding is the same woman that just gave birth.I think you're probably right.
None of this story makes any sense. Why would the newborn -totally newborn, an hour old-- be separated from Mom on the way to the hospital? What in the wide wide world of sports?!?!?!?
