Here we go again. I'm sensing a theme. Both Brown and Myers weren't living with their parents AND had issues with their education.

Jackie Williams, 47, said Myers was his nephew and lived with him. He said Myers worked at a warehouse and attended high school. According to school records, Myers attended Confluence charter schools and transferred out in the 2011-12 school year as a freshman.

Myers enrolled in the virtual education program in St. Louis Public Schools last year, said district spokeswoman Meredith Pierce. The Virtual Academy allows students to get credits from home or from several locations. Myers did his work from Gateway STEM Academy.

Myers completed summer school through Virtual Academy, but was dropped from the program on Sept. 9 after missing some days, Pierce said.

Gotta say, last night was pretty pathetic. After initially blocking traffic and raising a ruckus, all they did was walk around. On more than one occasion a protester asked what they were doing, where were they, where were they going? No one knew.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the City played them all night long and did a fair job of isolating the trouble makers. I really think LE had hoped that the protesters would go directly to the park but they didn't. Once the protesters got down past Arsenal on Grand, it seemed they were gonna turn back north but LE swept in and blocked the road, causing the group to fracture. That was the first "confrontation". I noticed the body language of the city cops at that point. Much more relaxed than what the County brings. Many were just lazily leaning against their riot shields and batons.

The protesters seemed lost, confused, out of their element and unsure what to do at that point, so they continued down Grand to Gravois. LE followed their every movement as they came up a residential street back to Arsenal, where LE was complete ready, blocking the intersection in such a way as to divide the protesters into even smaller groups. At that point, some of the protesters seemed just scared and wanted out but didn't know how to get out without getting blasted, so LE played the good guy and opened an avenue for those who wanted to leave and instructing the remainder they have to stay on the sidewalk, effectively reducing the size of the gathering even further and leaving only the most determined and potentially most violent of the protesters.

It also forced those protesters into the park, where it was illegal to be after dark. It also effectively kept the live streamers/agitators away from the remaining protesters. Thought from the beginning that LE would want to take them down in the park, away from residences and businesses and ultimately LE funneled them straight to that park and that's where things apparently ended.

In the meantime...what did just walking around saying/doing nothing accomplish???

Teenager shot by St. Louis police officer was awaiting trial on gun case

Beyent says he had known Myers for about a decade and that the teen came into his store daily for snacks and turkey sandwiches. He said Myers paid for the sandwich and a Sprite before walking out with a friend and a cousin.

Beyent said Myers did not seem like a violent person and doubted the police account of the shooting.

“That’s not the way he was,” he said. “There wasn’t enough time for him to go home and get a gun.”

How does this guy know that Myers didn't all ready have the gun on him. Does he search all of his customers for weapons before making them a sandwich? GMAB.

Oh, and burning the Flag caused dissent, even amongst other protesters. Destroying their cause from within.

On another note...have I said I'm tired of these live streamers claiming to be media? If the protesters were smart, they'd all just pull out their iphones, claim to be media and tell the cops they can't touch them because they're media. Stupidest thing I've ever heard. Once you take up the cause and chant and lead and advise, you are no longer media. You are an agitator trying to use an iphone as a cloak to try to avoid arrest. I get their are freelance journalists. These are not them.
