Um, I don't know....maybe 2 or 3-1/2?
Some that spoke against the violence also sided with the protesters so it was hard to tell

Ok, so that was JOSH< the teen leader of Lost Voices, that made that awful threat. " You have until FRIDAY to fire[ someone or other], or FERGUSON IS GONE. And this is not a threat. its a promise!"

That ^^^^ is THREAT of violence. :yes:

Blows my mind this carp is being allowed. Think some may be emboldened by our honorable AG's actions and statements?

Nobody really, EXCEPT FOR ONE. One kind of soft spoken white man, long time resident of ferguson.

First, young Josh, leader of Lost Voices, made a very scary threat of violence. He said if their demands are not met by Friday, FERGUSON IS GONE>


So this white man, with a soft voice said, 2 yrs ago if you told me I would own a gun, I'd have laughed. Because that is not me. But my neighbors and I feel FEAR that we now have to protect our families, and WE WILL. And he was looking RIGHT AT JOSH! He said if you come for my family I will be ready and Josh was replying but I couldnt hear it, and the councilman was saying DONT SPEAK TO HIM< SPEAK TO US....

Very powerful moment because Josh had the chance to hear that the citizens were armed and ready to stand up, in case they need to.

Thats why they are always asking for donations to their sites--for food and gas and car repairs and cell bills....lol

I know my friends who still live in a Ferguson family home owns weapons, but they also have a lake house they've been frequenting these past 2 months more than other years . . . they're trying to sell but know they won't get what they put into it in 2009

What about the 1 guy who wants to sell his house to move out? Said he didn't think there'd be any buyers because of the violence in his city. Then the next woman came up and spoke about all the people calling her to buy in Ferguson, which I think is BS, really, who'd purposely want to move to small town Ferguson, home of the riots unless they 1) don't watch the news or 2) are protesters.

Pops, you are something else. My depression is slowly lifting and I actually had great laugh because of your post. Thanks so much for that.

I realize that these issues are very serious and concerning, but a bit of levity to ease the tension, is very appreciated.

I'd just like to clarify that popsicles post was in reference to Bassem (sp?) getting arrested and being put in the pokey; in case some of you missed or skipped over some of the posts in this thread.

My opinion of Bassem is that he is certainly doing more harm than good (stating the obvious), and that he is a dangerous person. I don't mean to sound like a drama queen, he does frighten me. I've personally viewed some of the awful things that he has done and the horrible things that he has said. If one is looking for peace in these shootings, "protests" and other assorted goings on regarding the MB shooting and the Meyers shooting Bassem has no plans whatsoever to achieve that goal (peace). Suffice it to say; I would not mind one iota if Bassem was locked up indefinitely, as he clearly said and did illegal things. I realize that wish will not come to fruition; but one can hope...

Some of the information on this thread is coming from livestream reporters and protestors. Today's technology allows you to watch on your computer just as if you were right there amongst the protestors. Because of this fact NO LINK from MSM is required because there are none yet. It is as if you are an eye witness to events that are happening right before your eyes. Posters are reporting on what is happening in the City Counsel meeting, on the street where protestors are marching. Once MSM catches up we will probably get the story....or a version of the story. With livestream you actually listen to what is happening when it happens.
