Racheal had an argument with her mother left her family's residence in Richmond, Missouri on June 20, 1997. She has never been heard from again. Racheal may have left of her own accord. According to her mother, Racheal was interested in professional wrestling and country music in 1997. Her mother believed she may have traveled to Washington, Texas or California. Racheal's mother died in 2008 at the age of 55; in her obituary, Racheal is listed as having survived her. Her case remains unsolved.

I saw this researching something else today unrelated. It appears that a 29 yr old teacher at the HS years later was arrested for assaulting a teen in 97-98. Hayson disappeared around the same time. Just a thought: Former Richmond High School coach charged with assaulting cheerleader in 1997-98

I'd be interested to know what Rachael and her mother were fighting about the night she disappeared.

Whether it was a typical teenage-parent row or something that could be tied to Rachael's disappearance?

It's possible she's still alive, but I dread to imagine what kind of life she ended up in, as a vulnerable 14 year-old runaway.

She may have been picked up by a pimp and became a drug addict. She might have been abducted by a sexual killer.

It's difficult to see a happy ending here, but who knows.
