On Monday, a lot of schools and businesses were still closed or work from home due to the recent snow storm. Tuesday, most of the streets out in the county were clear but, many of the STL City streets were still snow packed or worse. Source: me, I live in the St. Louis area.

It breaks my heart when I see these seemingly regular reports of an eldery person with cognitive issues driving and then getting lost or stranded. Since Ray was in pajama pants, I don't see him coming from work (and he might not be working due to age and health issues anyway). So why was he out with that kind of forecast? - where he might have been headed might be a clue as to where he got stranded.

I hope he has enough gas in the vehicle to keep it running where he could keep warm (and hoping the exchaust isn't blocked by snow which is serious Carbon Monoxide hazard).

According to a FB comment from family member LC. he went missing in July of 2025 but I could not find any MSM verification of that.

The news article in the opening post stated they did not have registration information for his car. That is likely because he never registered it. He had a ticket for failing to register the vehicle in 2024. I've put the case number below as he has several other vehicular and other court actions in the system since 2022. From MiCourts State Database: https://www.courts.mo.gov/casenet/welcome.do

Case No. 240452424 - RICHMOND HEIGHTS V RAY ANTHONY COUCH
Description Failed To Register Vehicle

Date 09/14/2024 Ticket Number240452424
