It could be, but I lived in KC KS and it could be anybody. In many areas, illegals are the majority. Lotsa drugs. This area especially is pretty ghetto.

Yeah, but I was just thinking that most of those types of crimes are ones where they just leave the body wherever....someone put this one in a barrel and hid it in the woods. AND, IIRC the husband broke into a storage room where such items could have been kept.

Good point. It's been awhile since I checked in on this case, wasn't there a link to KC KS ?

Found the answer to that. SP's friend was a teacher in KCK since 2000.

That's right! Am I right that these cities are only a few miles apart?

What was the name of the other woman whose disappearance Shon may have been involved in? Star something??? I can't remember!!!

The elementary school she worked at is a little over 4 miles from where the barrel was found.

The area the barrel was found in is less than a mile from where persons of interest in Star Boomers case lived at the time she went missing.

It is also rumored that the remains in the barrel are around ten years old but I have no online source to credit, just rumor.

Now there's a source.

There's a pic of Star Boomer with this article along with a comment from her mom.

The Wyandotte County Coroner's Office said the woman was either white or of mixed race. They said she was 5 feet 5 inches and between 20 and 40 years old. Officials said the body had been in the barre lfor years, and likely died some time between 1996 and five to six years ago.
The woman had some dental work done, officials said. Investigators also said they found three rings and a beaded necklace along with the remains.

If it is Star Boomer, they need to search that area thoroughly for Renee. If SP had anything to do with it, he might have dumped Renee there too, thinking he'd found the perfect hiding place.

Sorry, I didn't read that too thoroughly.
No, You read it right, lol. The article has the familial relationship wrong. No worries :)
