Sheriff deputies searching for missing Moss Point man

MOSS POINT, Miss. -- The Jackson County Sheriffs Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing Moss Point man who disappeared from his home.

Rex John Vandewater was last seen Sunday morning at his home at 9215 Pollock Ferry Road in Moss Point. Vandewater, 47, is known to walk the trails around the house, according to his family.

Sheriff's deputies, area firefighters, and members of Jackson County Search and Rescue are looking for Vandewater in the woods around his home. Tracking dogs are also helping in the search.
