Gillespie left behind a wife and three children. He previously served in the Merchant Marines. Few details are available in his case.

Bumping for Richard - it's now been over 36 years.

This is another one of those frustrating cases where he could've gone literally anywhere. I highly doubt that he's still alive after all this time. Or he's in a nursing home somewhere if alive. He went off the grid before that term was popular. Mr. Gillespi could be a DOE somewhere. I'm just guessing: Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, or California?
