Here is the link to the Riedel fugitive article. If you keep digging on Riedel, there's a quote from Lead detective, Dave Asher, not confirming if he passed a lie detector.

Definitely contradicts what Mike had said previous on this forum.

So again, I ask the forum: why is there $100k bond on a guy who was a two-bit thief who already had a bond for this grave robbing venture?

Wow! Thank you, I've never seen this.

I figure since I have subscription to newspapers.com I might as well share articles. I'll look for other ones if people are interested.

Here is the article. What has Mike said that this contradicts? You realize he isn't Riedel. This article day is 24 since the disappearances of Suzie, Stacy and Sherrill. The police have to be getting desperate. Did Joe commit other crimes maybe out of state? Did they find that he lied or didn't hold up his end of the plea deal.

Yes I know Mike isn't Joe. What's the point of even saying that?

Joe didn't have a fugitive bond because he committed another crime. It was directly related to the GR case... but ultimately related to 3MW. 100k plus 10k (his GR bond) already in Greene County means they really want you.

Answers aren't in Newspaper articles. I posted it to illustrate a point and back up the thinking that this is related somehow to the grave robbers and Garrison.

Mike claimed Joe was out of town. Mike claimed Joe passed a poly. Police confirm neither in the articles. Only Dusty and Mike were cleared of passing the polygraphs. Along with several other suspects like the 50 year old Joplin man, Bartt, etc. Not Joe. SpringfieldMan341 had a good post about this. Scooby too. In the previous threads.

<modsnip: personalizing> I would think Mike could only know what Joe told him or what he heard. <modsnip: personalizing>

I hope the police have retraced Suzie and Stacy's steps that night. It's sad when you look at the newspaper articles that count the days they have been missing. It's like they had hope that the women would be found maybe even alive.

One article is day 23, the other has a map and another timeline. It might be the same.

That's more sketchy than one the Grave Robbers having a 100k fugitive bond that can't be explained and cops bailing out a drug dealer and taking him to a hotel?

Also you have a big important fact wrong, we have to clarify: Shane drove the girls to their cars in his Jeep (it's literally in one of the articles CherryMeg posted). I see nothing suspicious about it. They were all calling it a night.

Suzie needed a friend and told Stacy about the waterbed. They got in their cars and left after stepping inside the Kirby house and realizing it was full. Shane was probably still lingering around in the doorway or out in his car when he saw them walk to their respective cars.
But in other stories Shane walks with the girls and Janelle from the Joy party, to Janelles. So this is where things get muddy, and the reporting of back in the day starts going sideways, and doesn't make sense. It said that they returned to Brian Joys, followed by Janelle, then walked to Janelles to their cars with Brian Joy. So If they also reported it the way you say, and I'm not doubting you at all, it just proves that may be some of the confusion on this case, comes from some of the scattered reporting by the media, and by the police......may be its the reason this case went sideways??

They might report things differently depending on who tells the story. If it's second hand info it might have details added and or missing. Even people there might not have been great witnesses. If they were intoxicated, or not paying attention because they didn't think anything was wrong. People sometimes tell a story in a way that they seem like a better person. It's not a full on lie it's more like the way they wish they were. It might be something minor.

True, but the point is, that the MAIN STORY'S that were told right out of the gate, was the one I described. And I always heard the one where they walked from the Joys to the Kirbys, after returning to the Joys after the Hannover party was broken up.
My ultimate point it, among any and all other stories, that was the main one told, even right out of the gate after the crime occurred.

Joe passed the lie detector test in official documents.
Please post link or documents please.

Also passing a poly doesn’t mean jack.

It does if you accuse someone of lying. It's an official document you can probably look it up on that site.

What site?

Use attachment feature please. Otherwise it’s against Websleuths rules.

If he passed why did cops deny that he did or didn’t? Also cops can lie and say you passed. Common tactic.

I’m talking about lie detector part.

That wouldn’t be in PACER files. Can you screenshot like you did the other links? Just attach it.

It's not mine to share. It has personal info. Where have you seen that Riedel failed the polygraph?
