The only thing I see there is that, supposedly, JK was with Suzie and Stacy at the parties (was Mike with them? Or someone else?)

Why would someone call Suzie's mom if she didn't make it to a party? The way the people at the house reacted so casually on Sunday, the 7th implies to me that if someone didn't show up at a party they said they would be at, people would just assume they went to another party.
I hadn't thought of that.

Anjil,

The following is unverified information. Thought I'd share only because it could possibly offer insight into why someone may have called Mrs. Levitt and why she was reported to have been seen at the APCO.
Several years ago, on a Springfield social media site, I read a post from a female that said she and a group of others - including Suzanne - made plans to meet up at the Harter House food market after graduation and then caravan to Branson. The poster said that they waited and waited for Suzanne - but she didn't show. Saying that they presumed Suzanne went with other friends - the group proceeded to Branson without Suzanne.
Could it be that after the group arrived at the water park and some time later in the evening - when realizing that Suzanne never arrived - it prompted a call from Branson to Mrs. Levitt - out of concern/inquire about Suzanne's whereabouts?
Stacy called home saying that they weren't driving to Branson that evening. Was Mrs. Levitt aware of the changes? If not - a call from Branson would be confusing and alarming.

@Bookkeeper2

do you think whatever got Levitt out could also have been a ruse?
TIA

Debunked by whom? The cops people pick and choose when to trust?

question to the board: do you believe any of the sightings that night ?

One hopes this settles the matter of the bogus APCO sighting.

Does that mean you'll come around to Garrison having "prime info" ?? Since the papers printed it..

Which articles are truth and which are "bogus"? Just curious how you discern...

TIA, respectfully.

I don’t believe anything except the girls were at the Hanover party that was broken up at 1:50 AM. A number of former classmates should have seen them. The next sighting would have been the last known location where they were in Battlefield. They went on to the Delmar address never to be seen again.

The George’s sighting can’t be said to be debunked except it couldn’t be corroborated by anyone outside of the waitress. I strongly doubt they were there.

Correct me if I am wrong but It is my recollection it was written that the police “believed” it was prime info.

Offhand I am unaware that any prime info was ever verified. Personally I doubt it. One could argue that it was to his benefit to suggest he had that information so as to be treated leniently.

if you think a judge would sign off on something because of just hearsay and a cop's "hunch" well you're flat wrong.,,

but since you believe when the papers print things, it's correct without a shadow of a doubt....so that means you believe other things printed, correct ?

TIA, respectfully as always. Appreciate your responses Mule..

Thanks...i think it's possible for the sighting to be bogus..not convinced entirely.. however i dont discount the sighting of the vehicle near the Signal station or the van sightings in Delmar neighborhood leading up to the disappearance,...

IDK about the convenience store sighting, but I had been interested in the restaurant one.

I read somewhere (here, I think) that Suzie told JK that she and Stacy would go sleep at her house later, implying that she had plans to stop somewhere on her way home.
But I read this also was debunked.

Did I misinterpret this?

A waitress said she saw them. No waitress admitted to serving them or taking their money/credit card. No one else at the restaurant "saw" them, only one person who didn't wait on them.

Grand juries listen to hunches and hearsay.

Grand juries listen to hunches and hearsay.
True. But we don't know what was presented to them... and judges dont sign off unless piles of evidence is there
Itd never go to trial without bodies and thats ultimately why the suspects (not GJ3) werent charged.......
now just what was that evidence that forced a judge's hand on Garrison and his buddies' info.... ?

Grand jurors are privy to every piece of information, even information inadmissible during a trial. They also question witnesses.
If a Garrison gave a prosecutor substantial prime info, with a name, I can’t imagine why that prosecutor wouldn’t present it to another grand jury.

“believed” sounds like they debunked it.

sticking point for me.

Janelle telling news reporters that stacy was 'at that other girls house" yet......
waltzed right into that OTHER GIRLS house and loitered sabotaging a crime scene.

not cohesive statements and actions coming from the last person to see them before they vanished.

something stinks rotten in the blatant obvious.
